I have had several occasions where new members wanted to reply to a comment and they typed it into the main comment box instead of hitting the reply button. I was thinking it would help if it was larger and said "reply to this comment".

    rich, are you sure they are typing into the "wrong" box and not frustrated by their reply to a comment ending up somewhere down the line, not just after the comment? [my current pet peeve]
    I think making changes because you _think_ someone might like them is, well...guessing. Unless someone asks for a change, let's not give them one.

      Hi Winter. I should have mentioned that I was referring mainly to the Introductions. A number of times I welcomed new members and later noticed in the side bar that they had replied but I didn't get an email. When I look I see they are typing their reply into the main comment box. I hate to miss replies from new members. I don't wan them to get discouraged and leave.
