What's an AMA?
AMA stands for "Ask Me Anything." On the day of the AMA, we'll put up a new "AMA" post announcement. You'll then have the opportunity to ask the AMA guest questions in the form of comments on that post. Other Gulch members will vote on those questions. The most popular questions will rise to the top. The scheduled guest will then review and answer questions by responding directly to those comments.

Past AMAs :
- Harmon Kaslow: http://www.galtsgulchonline.com/posts/c0...
- Duncan Scott: http://www.galtsgulchonline.com/posts/3d...

- - - - - - - - - -

How? When? Where?
On December 8th, go to http://galtsgulchonline.com/TheJudgeAMA and your browser will be automatically redirected to the official AMA post where you'll be able to post questions and interact with the judge. The Judge will be here at 1PM ET. The post will be up early to give everyone an opportunity to get there questions posted and to vote on the best ones.

A couple of years ago I was watching TV flipping through the channels and stopped on one of the news stations. A senator was being interview by a reporter about a bill they had just passed. I only caught the last part of the interview. But I heard the reporter ask the senator about the bill they had just passed, "Doesn't that go against the Constitution?" The senator's reply was, "Most everything we do is against the Constitution." The way he answered it was as if he was saying, so what, what are you going to do about it? I could not believe the senator had the nerve to say that. I wish I had caught his name or recognized him. That is what is wrong with this country. People in Congress doing whatever they want legal or illegal and they have no doubt been doing that for decades.

The topic of this book is one of the biggest threats to the US-- expansion of executive powers. For the past 15 years or more, it's a steady drip of news stories that make me wonder, "wait, the President can do that?" It's like that movie American President from 20 years ago, in which the president introduces a bill and gives it a White House Resolution number.

How exactly do we get to the AMA? Will it be a post like this one? Is there a link to go to?

I've read all his books and they often serve to shore up the reasons of why I believe as I do. His approach is usually from a Constitutional perspective. Unlike many other legal-eagles, he is very readable and easy to understand.

What happens if a racial crisis is perpetuated and Obama declares national martial law? Will the defunded military step in and stop him? Too many independent officers have been removed or retired. I cry for our country over the apathy. The looters are winning.

My Marxist brother probably has an empty stocking, since his wife wised up and left him! If you hear an explosion in the northern part of Colorado around the end of December, you'll know I send it to him. hee, hee

Best program on Fox is TheFive, IMO. Most all of them are good anymore, however (except The O'Really Factoid)

Holy crap! Too bad I'm in Conventry; otherwise we could argue the Constitution! That'd be fun!

I very much enjoy the Judge. Very knowledgable about the Constitution, and has a great sense of humor.

All great resources. Now....... "Our mission, if we choose to accept it, is HOW THE HELL DO WE GET THE VOTERS TO WATCH AND READ AND LEARN AND SAVE THE NATION???" (that was supposed to be a play on the "Mission Impossible" franchise)

He's like an oversized baby with an ugly laugh...and tries to give off the impression he's some kind of lady's man. Bob BLECKel.

And I recommend the Anti-Federalist Papers. They defend individual liberty against statists like Alexander aka Bankster Hamilton.
    Reading them are most inspiring.

And I recommend the Federalist Papers -- especially #39, #41, and #44. The whole set can be downloaded for free from gutenberg.org.

The show needs a punching bag. I appreciate his filling in until they manage to recruit Roseanne Barr.
