I would like to join or start a petition to the Beloit police department, asking them to volunteer to be de-Nazified.

"He nevertheless hopes the program will encourage people to think about gun violence as an infectious disease like Ebola, and a home inspection like a vaccine to help build up the city's immune system." - Makes me want to punch him in the face.

Can I call the police to come and search my house for those keys I lost some years ago? I'm also missing some other things like a pair of glasses, and some fishing gear.

Can I have them search my neighbors house to see if he's got my missing fishing gear?

A long, long, time ago I search my 14 year olds room and found a bag full of Mercedes hood ornaments. That was just before my sister in law turned me in to CPS. I apologize for him if you were ever missing one. Thank God, he got over it.

I must still be having nightmares. When will I be able to wake up and live again? I got a Nam comrade that lives in Beloit, I'll send him the link.

The rational being used is teenagers are obtaining guns that their parents don’t know about. They put out a few factual stories with the public request to make the connection. It’s like telling parents they are responsible for knowing whether or not their children are on drugs by searching their children's room, but, in this instance, the search will be conducted by authorities offering their ‘police’ expertise to do the job for the parent. The NRA and gun advocates better very careful how they frame their argument against this offer because it could backfire.
This was a dangerously clever way to get around ‘probable cause’; they are appealing to a parent’s concern over their children’s safety.

The heading to this thread just begs to be in the chapter in AS on "The Sanction of the Victim".

"Did he somehow skip Civics in High School? Lie through the psych eval for becoming a cop? Brainwashed to be a libtard puppet?" - Ah, Susanne, you have just described a perfect New Amerikan Police Chief. He only needs a gender change procedure to apply for Cathy Lenier's job.

The looters don't read papers. Their agitators, er, I meant, community organizers, will have to instruct them.

And while they're searching for my lost guns, perhaps they can find a couple of my kids as well; I misplaced them somewhere around the living room last Christmas.

But he's "asking" politely - this is a kindler, gentler Police State.

But "switch blades, baseball bats, and two-by-fours" are not a threat to the State. Disarmed citizens being killed is an unimportant consequence, as long as a threat to the State is eliminated.

And if you consented once... well, that consent is valid forever. So when we need to come in and do a search and seizure because you did something like speak out against the new lese majeste laws, or not vote or behave the way the dotgov told you to, or post some anti-government feeling on a webpage somewhere, they're now free to leglly break down your door, collect "evidence" and, well, hope you enjoy the camps, comrade!

The police asking for volunteers to have their homes searched? What can this mean? Well, it has to be one or more of the following:
    The police are incredibly arrogant.
    The police are incredibly stupid.
    The residents are incredibly stupid.
    Any combination of the above.
But any rational resident will simply say, "What? are you crazy? Get lost."

Sorry but I disagree. The very stupid person is the person who takes him up on his offer.

I can offer to empty your bank account for you. If you are dumb enough to invite me to do it then you deserve to have no money.

i can't imagine the thinking on the part of the honest gun owners there about the police chief. he should go to kennesaw georgia where the police chief wants everyone to own a gun. very low crime rate there.

Is this Jacobs out of his mind? He needs to go to some OTHER country without this thing called the Constitution. Did he somehow skip Civics in High School? Lie through the psych eval for becoming a cop? Brainwashed to be a libtard puppet?

Cops like him are DANGEROUS. That he's the Chief of Police is downright SCARY. I wouldn't go within 100 MILES of a place where the cops are run by a anti-American Anti-constitution-honoring Oath-breaking psycho.

This police chief is a very stupid man. He should be relieved of his job, i.e. fired.

Just wait until they invite you to accuse your neighbors of having an unregistered gun...

This is a policy that can not end well.
