GOP takeover: Republicans surge to Senate control

So... what does this mean? Is there a hope for a more fiscally conservative Federal Government? Will we have a Congress that will stand up to The One, our Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm)? Will we finally learn why we let four brave Americans die in Benghazi? Will we learn who hacked Sharyl Attkisson's laptop? Or will it be a repeat of The Who's Don't Get Fooled Again: "meet the new boss... same as the old boss..."

What are YOUR thoughts? And don't forget to give this post a thumb's up if you like it. :)

    Hello Zenphamy,
I know how you feel. Talk is cheap, and they have talked before, but have they walked the walk?
There are only a few that I trust. Those are the ones that I expect to put their foot down and say NO! I only hope they are not too few.
    Regards,

$5Au hopes the GOP won't screw it up this time. It won't be easy to fix Ovomitcare, reign in the IRS, etc. The Zer-O and his Chicago gang will fight them tooth and nail after this week's bipartisan photo-op. The Narcissistic-n-Naif is incapable of significant compromise as that would undermine his status as Deity.

I have seen to much crap from all parties to believe they will be much better but time will answer that question.

I despise the Republican Party as much as I do the Democratic party--so I'm surprised that I feel a little hope, though Objectively I know better.

Hello O.A.! I am aligned with you... I've seen the (R) party snatch defeat from the jaws of victory before. To use another analogy, the dog has chased the car for a long time now, and has finally caught it. Now what? :)

    Hello YNGH,
There is hope. I would not sing "Happy Days Are Here Again" yet. Both parties have disappointed and proven they are cut from similar cloth so many times... We shall see.
    Respectfully,
    O.A.
