As Scott said about the Dilbert strip, people often told him, "You work as MY company, right?" Dilbert's problems were at many companies.
Wonder why I chose to stick my tongue into my left cheek and not my right one.
Semi-retired, for a few years I chased the better paycheck (easy to do with my background) by working for various security guard companies. Trained for a first week when I joined Wackenhut for a couple of years, I was told "Perception is everything." For example, if you're looking down reading something at a desk, a newcomer may think your eyes are closed and sleeping on the job. Here's another from my own experience. An approaching businessman briefly sneers for catching sight of myself. Why? My security guard uniform make he's way better than me. Guess what I think of him while being professionally polite?
We lost a hero. He had F-You money, and they forced him to use it!
Unfortunately, he did NOT LISTEN and got Vaxxed. The good news is he acknowledged his mistake. And he even said ~"Now... We are in an interesting position where NOBODY who refused the vaxx has any regrets... But those who didn't do!"
