Mamdani's Socialist (Democrat) Plans Will Only Make NYC Worse

Excerpt:
"Libertarian economists have long explained that democratic socialism does not involve outright government seizure of the means of production. Rather, it manifests through layers of government interference in the private sector—via regulations, taxes, mandates, and bureaucratic controls. Each intervention distorts market processes, producing inefficiencies and crises that, in turn, invite yet more intervention. The cycle repeats, expanding state power and eroding prosperity.

A contemporary example can be seen in the Democrats’ push to extend Obamacare subsidies, which are set to expire at year’s end. These subsidies were meant to stabilize insurance markets, yet their expiration will drive premiums upward. The government created this instability by intervening in healthcare and now seeks to intervene again—at an estimated cost of $415 billion over ten years—to “fix” the problem it caused.

This incremental approach is socialism by installments: policy by policy, the private market is replaced with a government-run one. Mamdani’s proposals fit within this framework."

Very True. Thank you John McCain.... But at least they tried. It will be interesting to see how many of the promises that Mamdani made will even be tried.

The entire point of government is that politicians lie to get elected and the people never knew what they were really going to get.
Example: GOP promised to kill Obamacare to get elected.

And then this morning (11/7), Mamdani and his handlers come out with all of the things that have to change immediately when he is sworn in - disassociate everything NYC does/has that associates in any way with Israel. NYPD training with IDF, any investments with any company that does business with Israel.....and so much more. And this is the city with the most Jews outside of Israel?? Do they realize what they have just done to themselves?

New Yorkers will enjoy their choice especially well when Muslims throw down prayer rugs in the busiest streets and avenues five time a day, weather permitting of course. At least there will be plenty of city wide loud bellowing in Arabic preceding the events to warn everyone of what's coming.

Call me surprised that someone with an automatic just rip a line straight up both sides of the street.

I remember Dearbornistan before the -istan was added. LOL

Do not see a way to right that ship - They just threw it away. London is a great example of what happens when you elect a socialist Muslim. I believe that Britain cannot make it without London, but I do believe that the US can make it without NYC. That is my hope......

NYC keeps reminding me of AS - I was told several times by a NYC liberal that there would never be a problem with NYC - it was WAY to big to fail. I wish I could get with her now and ask again.

Thanks. I wish I added: Islam and Marxism would see you dead if you don't think like them, but free America wants you to have life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness no matter what you think. Oh wait, I think I just did.

Excellent summary! Too bad the majority of the population will not understand this until it is far too late.

Methinks the libtarded gun-loathing commies will lose a war with Muslims.
bkeiber's right about the terrorists having all the guns. They will also know how to use them.

I agree part way in that the Democrat Party has been converting to the Communist Party for decades. They hate the free American constitutional republic as it interferes with their sick idea of what is utopia ("the workers paradise"). Islam wants the same result for a different reason as their utopia is a worldwide caliphate ("allah's paradise") and free America interferes with that result. The two, at this time and place in history, are natural allies. If "they" succeed they will immediately begin killing each other to achieve a singular dominance (recall how Stalin forced all the Muslims out of the Crimea). Islam and Marxism are very similar in many respects, but their differences will never let them be compatible with each other and neither is compatible with free America.

The democratic party is in the process of being converted to the "Muslim Party". They want all conservatives and Christians/Jews DEAD. That's why they want our firearms. Plans are taking place in mosques every day around our country to take us down. The bottom line for muslims is "KILL THE INFIDEL".

Is there a good vantage point nearby where we can sit and watch the lights go out? I'm thinking maybe on the shore near the Ruth's Chris steak house in Hoboken? Or is that too close?

Further update: I've lived in this western NY town (suburb of a democrat city, which I avoid going into) since 1979 and we've always had a Republican town supervisor. Over the past two decades the demographics of the town have been changing on an accelerated pace and a Democrat was just elected to the post. Considered an "upset" though I'm not surprised. I can feel my taxes going up already...

Oh, well, what the hell? Trust an Obamanation who says Islam is the religion of peace.
Then there's the New York Times endorsing King Barry and later Benghazi Killary while having a slogan about peddling "news fit to print.".

Dino, IMHO, this is a verbose dodge of taqiyya in practice, which is taqiyya itself. This Wikipedia article, likely written or heavily edited by taqiyya practicing Muslims, is a good example of why Wikipedia isn't always trustworthy. After reading a ton of irrelevant verbiage stuffed into the article, towards the end the "author(s)" slip in the line about people referring to taqiyya as lying to your face to further the cause of Islam is Islamaphobic - riiiiiiiiight!
