Your anger is well understood and somewhat justified however, that only works with foreign bad actors. The left knew long ago that the USA could never be defeated on the battle field. I know that feeling, rainman. I agree that if we are attacked, we answer with a stronger attack. This world is out of control, the inmates are running the asylum, and the attendants are torn between stopping the chaos legally or stopping it with heavier force. Do we use their tactics in the name of the good and start assassinating the baddies or do we use the rule of law to take them out by the book? There was a great movie (my opinion) from the early 2000's called Swordfish. Starred John Travolta as Gabriel, and Hugh Jackman as Stanley. One exchange goes like this:

Stanley: War? Who are we at war with?
Gabriel: Anyone who impinges on America's freedom. Terrorist states, Stanley. Someone must bring their war to them. They bomb a church, we bomb ten. They hijack a plane, we take out an airport. They execute American tourists, we tactically nuke an entire city. Our job is to make terrorism so horrific that it becomes unthinkable to attack Americans.
