Carter was a disaster; I lived through his hot mess with runaway inflation and gas rationing. Then Clinton was immoral, then Obama was the next mess from Mecca, then Biden, more corrupt and immoral. I do not think Trump can fix it in four years.

I never encountered him, but he was a year ahead of me at HP High School.

Yup. Incredibly sad that millions of Americans voted for Obma to have a 4th term to fundamentally destroy the country even more than he did in his first three terms.

Can you imagine what Obama's 4th term might have looked like? I beleive we'd have real insurection if it went through.

Yup. But of course Biden didn't have anything to do with any major decisions. He was simply the figurehead for Obama's 3rd term.

And 2nd term, and perhaps even the1st term. It was the Obama legacy left begind that got Biden in, and allowed Biden to make such a mess of everything.

I liked the Bee this morning, it had a picture of Carter looking toward the sky and a caption, "Carter To Skip Trump Inauguration".

I'm not the first to say this, OUC, but I want to say it anyway. Thank you for all of the enjoyment you've brought to The Gulch with your memes. Thanks for the time and effort you put into each and every one of these. Even during some of my worst days, seeing your memes always made me smile. It's not easy doing that over and over, but you've done it well. Have a safe and Happy New Year, and (with homage to Cole Porter) we all hope you continue to do that voodoo that you do so well!

Let me say that Carter was THE ONLY President I saw doing something GOOD with his fame after his Presidency. His support for Habitats for Humanity funded a HIgh School Program in my HS where the "Vocational" kids actually learned to build a house, many went from FLUNKING in HS to working in the trades.

He was a HORRIBLE President, but a DECENT Person IMO.
And he spent DECADES giving back to those less fortunate.

By Comparison... Only Trump has done so much for those less well off (donating his salary before, and this time to Homeless Vets).

Reagan had an excuse. Bush Sr./Jr. are both Selfish Creeps.
Clintons? Even their charity CHEATS people who need the help.
Obummer? NADA. Only helping themselves.

Until Biden, Carter was the Worst Living President. Biden now owns that spot, and he will do NOTHING for anyone else but him/his family... UNLIKE Jimmy Carter.

By The time I left the state, just in my area, a handful of houses were built and given to families in need. And people developed skills and made life long friends.

That is how I will CHOOSE to remember Jimmy Carter.

Love the two “Worst Presidents”! Carter was useless as POTUS, and then even worse actions and intentions after, meddling in international affairs he had no business in. Thank goodness he can no longer waste our time!


Too bad Carter was a nuclear Navy officer. Leaves a stain on the service. I met his grandson at the Navy Submarine League meeting this fall, receiving an award for his him. Affable guy. Looked just like him.
