Based on what I've heard, their culture is 'go along to get along.'
They have never had a culture of individualism.
If i wanted a car, Toyota would be high on my list along with Mazda
(that I've been driving since the first RX7.) Reliability and reasonable
maintenance wins out for me over niche popularity and "features"
that I don't really need. 👍
That said, I'm open minded about other Asian brands that offer value.
