I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch...I was VERY active in the NY Objectivist scene in the 60s and early 70s. Lapsed after friends suicide. Also I'm an artist. intuitive creative & playful. Didn't fit in with the humorless judgemental crowd. Never stopped loving the book. Re read it every few years. I was an inventor - toys and games - Whoopsie, Magic Hair Crissy Dolls, VCR Clue games - and niche fashion designer of "BodyWebs" ( those sexy sliced spandex outfits popular with biker chicks in the 90s and early 2000s) Anyway I'm here because I just watched the trilogy on TV (never knew it had been made!) and was SO upset that part 3 was being shown with an editing glitch that ran the sound track a few minutes behindthe picture for most of the film. PLease please somebody fix what is so unworthy of the work put into the production. And hi everybody! You can call me Izzi.
I have a question. Been trying to reasonably pursue this for 4 years.
Have you ever run across any info regarding the original Star Trek using The Objectivist's Ethics as the philosophical base for production? The parallelism is uncanny.
