When I last drove through Tonopah, Nevada, there was a mounted sign that said, WILL ROGERS NEVER MET HARRY REID
The sign was in reference to the most famous quote of Will Rogers (1879–1935). He was an American vaudeville performer, actor, and humorous social commentator.
Rogers had said, "I never met a man I didn't like."
He later commented about his quote:
When I die, my epitaph, or whatever you call those signs on gravestones, is going to read: "I joked about every prominent man of my time, but I never met a man I dident [sic] like." I am so proud of that, I can hardly wait to die so it can be carved.

I believe this is a "let's throw mud and see if any of it sticks" type of situation.

Are you kidding? Anything that scary has to be called an assault weapon! I mean, it could have a bump stock or pistol grip! [/s]

Nicely expressed, OUC. Harry is a prime example of a corrupt politician that never spent a minute in jail. They protect each other.

I figured that right from the beginning. Assemble an I-Hate-Trump jury under an I-Hate-Trump judge in a We-Hate-Trump venue and slap on a ridiculously long list of supposed "crimes" and spend months wearing down the jury and they will feel obligated to randomly pick a few to make stick, even if they will definitely fall apart under appeal. The optics of "got him" is all they're after. No different than the impeachment hoaxes.

Yes, I'm weary of living in an Orwell novel but an Ayn Rand one also.
As for that meme with Trump running with all those cops backing him up on the first day of his second term, all those rifles they carry are not "assault rifles" AKA "weapons of war" unless the selector switch includes AUTOMATIC FIRE that spews lead like a machine gun or a submachine gun. PERIOD!

Trump could trump that one by giving the jury all the big macs they could ever want...hell, Fries too!

I heard tonight that one reason Bragg put over 30 counts in the indictment was because he only has to get a guilty verdict on one of them.
