When leftist government at various levels and academia began forcing the general populace to accept and buy into the fantasies of the sexually confused and then grant such confused persons special protections and social status a new level of insanity entered the nations consciousness. One of the results is a new group of entitled confused persons making demands that are entirely nonsensical. The nonsense will continue and expand until society finally has enough fortitude to insist the madness stop.

If the secretary of the school had been armed it would have ended with the murderer being killed at the front reception area. Upon hearing the breaking of the windows of the front door an armed person at the front door could have waited for the intruder to walk past the window and shot them dead. If the first encounter had failed, if a janitor, teacher or any other staff been armed it still could have ended with the intruder being shot dead and no one else. Don't depend on the shooter being afraid to enter the school because people might be armed. Just kill the intruder first. No need to wait 14 minutes for the police to show up. When they do arrive they can examine the crime scene, declare the intruder dead, the citizens as hero's and the day is done.
