I was likely 16 but I still can recall walking back from the concession stand and seeing the bottoms of two feet wearing white socks bobbing up and down inside the left rear window of a car's back seat. You just can't ever forget seeing such a sight.

Saturday before last, me dino repeatedly tried to say "Hi" to my granddaughter's boyfriend but he was too enraptured to what his nose was all but pressed against on his cell phone that he appeared to bow before..
My son-in-law looked on with an "I've already been there, tried that, done that and gave that up" expression on his face.
Me dino is glad I live in another galaxy far, far away a long, long time longer than that way taller then me kid. (And I was six feet, one inch tall before old age ate that extra inch).

Ah yes the drive in. The song Night Moves was written by Bob Seeger (a high school classmate) about the Scio Drive in on Jackson Road in Ann Arbor Michigan. Been there done that. The youth of today have no clue what they are missing. .
