            I understand. I do think it would be a difficult and scary trip if there was no soft landing in the USA. All I can think of is moving to a place like china with no money. Definitely be a difficult plan. Only the hardy and determined would survive- probably the people who we would WANT to come to the USA

            How about this for a generalization. This isnt racist, but simply a generalization based on hiring a lot of people (from most likely to be good employees to least)

            First generation mexicans
            First generation other south americans
            Asians (chinese, japanese, phillippinos)
            Assorted Americans
            Second generation hispanics
            Blacks

            YES. And this would help in making stuff here in the usa instead of buying from china. USA workers would continue to enjoy the low prices that were the result of buying from china, and USA workers would be encouraged to be worth the higher wages they want. Perhaps by working more effectively, and understanding what minimum wages do in an economy

      The point is to destroy the Republic. It is only when the spirit of the nation is broken can the evil bassturds running this OP can take full control over the nation. It is so obvious, and yet they, WEF, are telegraphing this message right in our grill. Believe them when they tell you, "you will own nothing"

    I guess if you don't mind they camp out there and pee and poop on the acres of fresh produce being grown in the field. Wonder what diseases they are spreading to us via the vegetables we eat that they used for a toilet?

    we will pay for the damage as the price of celery goes up. the farmer needs some sort of wall or fence that isnt easy to climb over. maybe some booby traps or electrified fences.

    I am not in a good mood today. My daughter in law died from Stage 4 cancer two months ago. My daughter is in the hospital as of yesterday with Congestive Heart Failure. My good friend collapsed and her husband gave her CPR. She has coded six times since yesterday and the hospital apologized for breaking some of her ribs.

      I keep getting phone calls from several attorneys who are engaged in a lawsuit against the government for polluted water at Camp LaJuene. My X2 referred to this place as Swamp Lagoon! Three of his children were born in N.Carolina and one has skin cancers, one died in her 40's and the other one is in the hospital. When he left N. Carolina and arrived for the second time in Viet Nam he was hospitalized in country with Hepatitis. I asked him how he got it, he said, "drinking dirty water, we didn't have clean water!' Sure I'm pizzed off. (His wife had died and he was still deployed.) Then he was overexposed to Agent Orange and I lost him too soon. The Army thinks the pitiful pittance they pay for killing our service men is compensation.. not hardly. I'd rather have my husband. I keep telling them I've never been to Swamp Lagoon. Wrong wife! I'm the Agent Orange wife! Wow I am a mess today.

        So many things have been done BY our government that are really despicable. Unfortunately, the government doesnt pay, WE do who pay taxes. thats not fair at all.

        After boot camp on Parris Island, South Caroline, I had to do some advanced combat training and then went to a supply clerk school at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina during 1970.
        Guess I'm lucky. Never caught any of the diseases advertised by some lawyer firm in TV.
        During the 80s and the 90s, I could as a corrections officer run across a large prison to break up g\fights and get to other emergencies.
        I was over 65 when I came down with Type 2 diabetes that makes the bottom of my feet tingly especially when swimming.
        Thought that was why my left foot became permently deformed but that turned out to be a blood flow problem into my entire left leg "corrected" by a stent implanted into an artery.
        I'll be limping and using a cane for the rest of my life but I don't think drinking water at Lejeune did it. Maybe I wasn't WHERE at that camp the water was bad.

    The government should not give freebies to illegal immigrants, and they should not be subject to minimum wage laws. I would hire some of them at $5 an hour, and get rid of entitled americans demanding $15 an hour. We might be able to cut back on buying stuff from china if we did that.

      The government should not give freebies to anyone. The government should not set minimum wages. Anyone should be able to hire anyone for a mutually agreed-upon wage. Anyone should be able to buy anything from anyone willing to sell at an agreed-upon price. Buying from China is not mandatory. Not buying from China is voluntary. Why cut back on buying from China? Are they getting "too rich"? How does that hurt our enterprises?

      Free-market competition does not mean intentional mutual destruction. Is one party's success another's downfall? Is not being number one an excuse for greed and hate? How about working out an objective formula for mutual benefits, respect for others' competence, and resisting the animal temptation of predatory aims, whether by force or fraud?

        Buying from china is I think in the long run not a great idea. Its a communist dictatorshp and becoming dependent on goods from china has a LOT of uncertainties and potential delays and perhaps loss of deposits. Not to mention that its likely we will be at war with China if they try to take over taiwan. Are they going to continue the shop to the usa if we are at war with thm

          Planning for war rather than market development sounds like a malevolent universe premise. China has been moving slowly towards capitalism in their trading practices. By our example they will make the transition from communism to a free-market system. They benefit from developing customers around the world. Peace builds, war destroys. If they are fair and competent, they are unlikely to risk their gains by aggression and war, and they deserve their success.

          Teach them cooperation, an open market, free enterprise, through a good example, not through punishment and condemnation and sabotage. By all means buy from them if it's in our interest to get better quality and lower prices. In the long range, we (the U.S.) profit from efficient use of resources and labor. No one gains, in the long run, from deliberate damage to others.

          Capitalism is not based on hindering others from success. The golden rule applies. Hostilities are a mental and emotional sickness and not good for business. Can we set a better example for open trade for mutual benefit than to be plotting for "likely" war?

            It is communist china that is preparing for war with Taiwan. I think your rose colored glasses hide the intentions of communist party. Hope you are right, but I am preparing for them to do what communist countries seemingly always do. Look at Russia and Ukraine

            I like what you have to say as an ideal scenario, but I see China's move towards capitalism as a move towards the crony government kind with a lot of communist vestiges remaining in place. Less communist and more fascist (as much as the commies hate to use that word). History teaches us dictatorships want to get what they want even if it means slapping around people to get it, which equates to war on their own people or war on neighboring countries. Yes, "Peace builds, war destroys", but from a dictatorship's point of view there's peace as long as it builds what it wants, and war is a viable option as long as it destroys those standing in the way. "Deliberate damage to others" is no big deal to totalitarians as long as they can score what they perceive as a win. The only way to deal with dictators is to demonstrate they will be the losers if they employ cheating or war tactics. The CCP is extremely adept at the cheating game, but will likely begin the war game if it feels such tactics can be won. Totalitarian governments have to loot to appear prosperous.

            Edit add: I've worked in China and saw a lot first hand. Great people with bad government. IMHO, America is a hair's breadth away of sliding into the same situation.

    I don't think the use of the term "Liberals" is very useful, particularly in this context. There are also many Objectivists on both sides of this issue. Those in favor of open immigration cite the Declaration of Independence and due process, among other things. Those who favor some type of government enforced border control cite the defense of American residents from known threats. Trampling private property is a violation of law that should be enforced and prosecuted objectively.

    After an 11 year run on WTTK- Boston, The Extreme Games™, the Libs finally got him fired for his expansive free speech. WTTK went from the number one station in Boston to folding in less than a year.
    He predicted he would be ousted eventually as Boston is as woke as it gets. Even he was surprised how long it took to get him fired. He then predicted, correctly, WTTK would become a soft rock station or in his works "ETB radio" The latter become true. If you look up WTTK in wiki, you will see none of this history, including not a mention of Jay Severin. If you look up Jay Severin, there is no mention of his dominance as a radio personality or even association with WTTK Radio Boston. This is yet another example why wiki is such a PoS website.
