$5Au was particularly struck by Rep. Gowdy's comment that we are making the same security recommendations now that were made 25 years ago. "Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

    Hello fivedollargold,
    Trey Gowdy is an honorable and reluctant politician. He is much like Washington in this regard. One of very few I have any respect for.

    It seems to me that since the full frontal attack failed because principle witnesses avoided involvement, Gowdy is laying a trap by being calm and reasonable to lure them in. Issa was much too obvious and public opinion was he was partisan and biased. Gowdy is making a case that any reasonable, responsible person in authority needs to contribute to the corrective process and prevent a reoccurrence.

    There is serious doubt that Obama is an American and too many of his agents hate the US and want to take it down. Muslims are being brought into the US in ever increasing numbers and now there is a plan to fast track tens of thousands of Syrians into the US. I don't think we can think in terms of we are all Americans anymore. There is an enemy among us.
