When I commented on inflation (I didn’t start the topic. I just labeled it what it was.) they started out with derogatory comments about Trump and MAGA. I’m no Trump fan boy. But, I couldn’t resist. “Oh is HE still in office? I thought he lost in 2020 and went to jail. So, he must not be in jail then? Maybe Pelosi or Fetterman can do something about that.”

A very good friends' husband announced as he set down to eat...;'There will be no political conversations in My house at dinner. If you can't follow that, let me show you the door now.' All ten offspring and spouses kept their mouths shut throughout the entire meal. Just smiles and compliments to the cook. Very pleasant meal.
