If the context is right for adding an element of teaching into what you have to say, I would recommend telling them that every one of the irrational evils we see in politics and in culture today have a single point source: The toxic rot that's being - and has been - taught in American schools over the last 30+ years. The fraud of Howard Zinn and Albert Gore particularly, and of every acolyte thereof.

Zinn's fraud lies in two aspects of the concept of context - 1. judging the distant past via the perspective of today (i.e., slamming the Medieval denizens of 1492 etc with concepts of rights and morality that wouldn't be discovered and hammered out until 250+ years after they were all dead,) and 2. blithely omitting the comparative brutality of every single culture that existed pretty much everywhere on Earth at that same time. And Gore's fraud of course lies in the simple facts of science, and a guy named Henrik Svensmark and a one-hour film called "The Cloud Mystery" that every one of the whole Eco-Religion's cultists would really like everyone to just ignore, etc.

So the bottom line would be: Drop out, tune in, and educate yourselves. 8^]
