by Elia Cmiral is listed as available for under $9 as both a download and CD at the Store site. A couple of the tracks are from ASI but this CD is not to be missed.
Had the producers of ASp3 had their wits about them, they've have gotten her to do the soundtrack, and the Stirlingites' attendance alone would have doubled the overall attendance of the movie.
I confess to disappointment with Richard Halley in ASp2. The "music" he played was discordant and painful. Probably the product of mathematically perfect reasoning, no doubt...
Who did the soundtrack to the first two movies, and why didn't they do all 3?
I hate to be negative, but one of the very few things I didn't like was the pieces played each time there was a scene with the Jeep driving around the Gulch. Enough so that it stood out. As did the number of scenes with said Jeep. At least it had Colorado plates on it - good attention to detail, but I'm surprised Galt would bother registering it al all :) The rest of the music, I don't recall... but I'll be paying attention now when we see the public theatrical release.
I waited for one scene without music... didn't happen. Galt would not have bothered with CO plates... Pirate and I had a conversation about this after the movie. Maybe he would have carved a piece of rectangular wood with "ISwear" and put that on the jeep where a plate would go. lol
We have to look at them again, because they may be prop Colorado plates. CO plates, unless they're vanity plates, have all the numbers or letters grouped together - not mixed. The part I didn't believe is that they had a 2014 tag on them, and you get the tags in one of 2 ways - you can mail in to the County Clerk's office, or you can pick them up. I don't see anybody in the Gulch doing either.
Given that AS-I begins in 2016, the 2014 tabs would be long out of date by the time they show up in the Gulch. My assumption is that Galt would have left them as a statement of having shrugged off those chains as well.
He did live and work in the real world, too. If he ever took the vehicle out of the gulch, while not registering it or having it plated might have made a great act of defiance, dealing with law enforcement would have added unnecessary hassles to his agenda.
I would have had CO (or WI) plates on the vehicle, but out-of-date...
