Me dino really likes all those lions.
Think it was Socrates who said he did not know everything. Or was it Plato? Crap, I don't know everything! Wait, was that anything instead of everything? Oh, Noooooo!!!

I think I read in a social studies book that Socrates once said, "At any rate, I am wiser than that man...."
I don't rememger who "that man" but I think it was someone who, apparently, was claiming to more knowledge than he actually possessed. But I don't care for the idea that nobody can actually know anything, etc.

    Grammer! Oops, that's grammar.

That'll be "whose" not "who's". And Franklin's picture is using the imperative mood, which does not have the "eth" suffix even if he were using colloquial language of a previous century.

Why do I, unlike so few others, have a good command of Elizabethan grammar? Perhaps it's stuff I read at a young age--that "difficult" King James Bible and what's-his-name who wrote all those plays. Shaxper or Oxford or something.

I like the warning label. Some people are so stupid today they have to be TOLD the obvious. Also, every time I see the software update notifications I break out in a cold sweat. The old saying...if it aint broke, don't fuck with it comes to mind.

It's funny, because true intelligence is almost inversely proportional to ego: the more you want to learn, the more open you must be to answers you weren't prepared for.

Gotta go swat me some bugs with a phone, now. ;)

    Love them!

That first pic of the lion with blood all over reminds me of our trip to Africa. I had a pic with a lioness, but had trouble focusing on her face. When I zoomed in, it was because her entire head was covered in flies, licking the blood off her!
