The first movie ends with Chapter 10 of part 1 - Wyatts Torch. ANyone know if the 2nd movie will address Part 2 - "Either-Or" and Part 3 "A is A"? Cause I really dont think there will be time for another movie if Obama is re-elected. And I still never got any replies on why Reardon was driving a toyota?

What would Obama being re-elected have to do with the "time for another movie"?
What would a Toyota have to do with it? Should Reardon be driving a car from a company that ran itself into the ground and relied on massive government subsidies to keep going?

OK. YOur right. its not ABOUT but rather where the "kick in the pants comes from (action steps) and without it, we cannot call the masses to action or have the momentum we need in time in order to wake the individuals who dont understand what is going on in our country today. For your post, I give you likes and I wonder how many others have read part III chapter 6 10 or more times?

You'd have to speak to Ford and Idol's marketing departments to ask them the specifics of their deal.

(Note: I am speaking generally about the story of Atlas Shrugged here, not specifically about the ASP2 movie.) The story of Part 2, Either-Or, is extremely important to the overall narrative and philosophy of Atlas Shrugged. It is the next important building block on top of Non-Contradiction. Once you recognize that contradictions can't be held, you must next recognize that a choice is to be made between the two contradictory things. Part 2 of Atlas Shrugged concretizes and demonstrates the tension and struggle behind Either-Or, especially in a corrupt society, as a good story should. It inductively brings the audience to where it needs to be for A is A and Galt's speech. And no, A is A is NOT what the book is about. The book is about man's mind going on strike, the rest is needed to tell the story. If Non-Contradiction and Either-Or aren't what the book is about, they would be completely unnecessary.

Ford gives doezens of cars to "IDOL" but most are obama supporters so I see how it may have bee tough to get a real american car (with the romance AR described Reardons car in AS.) juss sayin.

I wasn't involved in Part 1 and have no knowledge of the production process, but I would venture to guess that the cars used in it were chosen due to budgetary issues.

really? we will not get the "this is John Galt Speaking" speech? THis is what is what WE THE PEOPLE need to hear in order to tie it all up. As I said in past posts, A is A IS the PART (iii) that is what the book and premise or meat and potato - is about. Kinda dis-appointed right about now.
