People are Getting So Damned Stupid!

I really can't believe what I'm seeing with the general public. I'm having to deal with major stupidity every day...often at least twice per day. One of the latest is watching a title company struggle with understanding a basic trust. I may not be able sell a home because of it. Told my realtor I'll just rent the place out until I die....haha! Then, my son saw a diminutive gay white kid punched in the head five times by a "youth" in class at school while also threatening to kill him. The campus police officer showed up and asked the victim, "What did you say to make him hit you?" My son flew off the handle at this line of questioning and the cop threatened to throw him out of the room. Proud of my boy. Even with autism he sees the raw stupidity. The perp wasn't suspended...probably because of his pigment. Now, I'm working on a project where a team of what I thought were strong professionals had designed a fuel pipeline system. (I was tossed into the mix very late in the project, after construction started). Now that we're about to complete construction it's clear that they didn't have a handle on the physics and I'll be up late crunching numbers trying to verify if it will flow or not. Every damn day I'm seeing massive stupidity in critical areas...basic areas, from people who are trusted specifically to get it right. I regularly think that if we had to put man back on the moon, about 53 years later, we'd probably blow up a dozen or more astronauts in the process (I do think non-government entities could do it). Part of this phenomenon appears to be a collapse of public education. I had "faith" that I could get my kids an education in a better public school system but not too sure about that now. I'm watching the wheels come off the cart.

How are the young people in America going to deal with this? I keep thinking they'll probably have to get tactical and simply leave for another country. Thailand? Chile? Norway? I'm thinking a country that values intellect and is militarily uninvolved.

I feel you pain with daily examples myself…

Call the California DMV for starters… Why do doctor ask the same question every time you see them, like do you smoke? Seems like its easier to rely upon the process instead of thinking for oneself.

I’ve been following these changes as well, have not happened in modern times and we have no idea what will happen. The pole shift is real and no one is covering it, could be that all of this is a distraction as well.

My favorite reference manual is Idiocracy, normally I dislike this style of humor but there is just so much good material that seems to relate more and more every day.
--- Like “Wipeout” is only a single step away from “Ow! My Balls”
--- We are mismanaging our drought, just like the movie. If we start watering our crops with Brawndo, I’m out of here.
--- The news is simply dumb, all opinion. Its tailored to keep you watching, not inform you.
--- The flashy Ads are everywhere vying for your attention.
--- The funniest of them all, Kamala Harris is almost a dead ringer in looks and intelligence for Rita (played by Maya Rudolph), even better, Rita in the movie is a prostitute, just like Harris.

Why does the doctor ask if you smoke?
      1. Big health centers can often bill insurances an extra couple dollars each visit if they ask if you smoke. They can also get money if they ask about your vaccines, if you feel safe at home, and (depending on the plan) a few other things.

      2. Also, thanks to the ACA mostly destroying what was left of the doctor patient relationship for the middle class, the base reimbursement for cognitive medical services is so low that everything has to be standardized and turned into a "health mill" with high levels of standardized bureaucracy, and dumbing down of care -- works ok if you had a standard presentation of a standard problem, not so well if you have an unusual presentation that takes more time to think about and analyze -- without much if any increase in reimbursement unless a procedure is done.

      3. Finally, some people may just have started smoking since the last visit, just like others who said "yes" may have quit, so they keep the records up to date

It's not just the smoking question and you are making my point is that its procedural, they offer a service in which I pay money to uptrain. If I started to smoke, it would behoove me to seek help to stop, I really don't need to be treated like a child and constantly be quizzed on this.

The relationship between me and the insurance company is different and they shouldn't be a enforcement arm of the insurance company as I'm paying both a lot of money.

" if you feel safe at home, and (depending on the plan) a few other things."

Yeah, mine keeps asking me if I feel like I don't have enough food. Anyone who's not 100% blind can already answer that question, just by looking. It's all so stupid.

If you do smoke then the doctor has an end all do all cause for whatever ailes you. I have been refused treatment at the hospital by a doctor who told me to go elsewhere because she was allergic to the smell of smoke.

There seems to be a plethora of break downs in rational thought and civil behavior. And it's getting worse every year. Why? I don't have a definitive answer, but I've seen some interesting speculations. One theory is the change in electro-magnetic radiation hitting our planet as well as the shift in magnetic axis taking place has an effect on our physical brains (OldUglyCarl linked a video I watched). Another is the Biblical explanation and these are the "end times". There are others, too, but I can't supply a source so I'll not go there until I can. Anyway these seemingly unrelated events may have a common source... or maybe not.

    Getting?

The stupidity was visually validated, and continues to be, when the masses took to wearing compliance masks.

Sudden Adult Death syndrome only amplifies the compliance mask idiocy.

Yes, I did don a a mask occasionally because of where I work, but it never stayed on a second more than it needed to.

Appreciated. Cowards down vote without discussion.

For the record. I didn't get the jabb or any booster, I've never been tested, I didn't miss a single day or work at a very high traffic job site for 3 years and going, even when everyone else was self-isolating, lathering up, and complying with their muzzles.

I HAVE been kicked out of stores, chided by masked half-wits, and lectured by strangers.

BECAUSE of half-wits I no longer follow any sport, I no longer attend local concerts (which I enjoyed at the spur of the moment), I do not go to movies and I hardly go out to eat anymore, and I scarcely travel (I enjoy driving and impromptu exploring with no destination in mind). The sh*t for brains have decimated the supply chain and my tech equipment is hard to come by when I need it and those creature comforts I enjoy (nuts, half-half, bagels, raisin bread) have gotten smaller and more expensive because FAKE FEAR.

Actors (professional pretenders) have my interest because they convey a plot convincingly. Sports people have my interest for the sport I enjoy(ed) watching, not their politics or views, particularly when I'm watching or have paid for a ticket. My world has grown smaller and smaller and the little space I use is even under contention. Live an let live is no longer accepted.

I do not need anyone's approval for living life on my terms. By reigning in my activities and enjoyment, taking money and time away from the persistent and obnoxiously delusional I have, in my own way, shrugged in plain sight.

        F'em, F'em all.

        Apologies for the rant.

" My world has grown smaller and smaller " This is oh so true. We are finding ourselves more and more basically "confined to quarters" to keep from exposing ourselves to the dumbth.

It being played off as-if there no such concept as cause and effect. I'd wager they blame it on the equally bogus and imbecilic climate change.

Clinton's statement "it depends on what your definition of 'is' is" really seems to be reality these days, only the left (MSM) makes the determination and omits or drowns out dissenting views.

Thinking is hard and is a matter of choice; it requires active mental conceptualization. Why bother when you can outsource thinking to an Expert or similarly appointed bureaucrat? Even my parents have a tendency to not bother thinking -- my mom outsources it to my dad -- who then gets a sparkle in his eye when offered the opportunity to think -- and so he expresses a rambling opinion, then nods in the affirmative without any further discussion... he's been retired from the post office for 25 years -- Pension. I call it The Pension Mindset . . . no matter how disconnected from reality, just express your opinion, nod and smile -- you can even be a harmless lunatic -- so long as you have a Pension. The Pension Mindset is being sold to the youngsters -- witness the Uni-Loan Bailout (vote buying) scam. These kids are essentially being shown that Reality no longer matters. The whole thing is morally reprehensible and unsustainable (where I use the word unsustainable in a reality-based perspective).

More -- I actively "sold" my IRA and Pensions years ago ... I have to manage my retirement "actively" and do so by buying "things" such as land, improving the land or marketing it well, then sell it -- for a profit. The only way this process can work is if I continue to be an active thinker.

Russia is a strange friend of the US. I've heard some interesting theories...

While much of Europe was supporting the Confederacy during our Civil War, hoping to return America to European rule, Russia supported the US. The US purchase of Alaska solved Russian financial problems. Was the assassination of the Tsar in 1917 retribution? Were banks involved? Who funded the Bolsheviks?

I still see people driving with masks.
I am seeing people with masks OUTSIDE walking.

if they worked, that would be ONE THING. But we KNOW THEY DO NOT WORK.

I have started approaching people and telling them: "I am sorry they convinced you masks work. You wear them, but they do more harm than good!"

The moms with the masked kids in the stores. I don't approach them because it's an adult conversation... But it's truly sad!

Even a mid-Mesozoic Jurassic Period dino will laugh at a supposedly advanced modern day idiot, who wears a mask all alone in a car.
Me dino finds that sight even funnier now that the vast majority of people no longer wear masks in crowded places.

When I was an adolescent in school, I was often picked on,(and I don't mean just with verbal insults; I mean people kicking me, or pulling my hair, etc). One of my teachers said something about my "attitude". My attitude was that I just wanted to be left alone, physically, and if I wasn't left alone, there would be a fight. By the time I had been in 12th grade awhile, there wasn't as much trouble about getting a seat on the bus.(Maybe because the ones who were bigger and older had aged out of the system--and the others also knew that I could and would fight).--But don't blame mere stupidity. It's worse. Irrationality--willful refusal to recognize the truth.

we live in a society of entitled people (titulados), I hope that in the coming SHTF, they get a taste of reality instead of being taken care of.

IMHO there exists both ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance is simply lack of knowledge and/or the inability to string together cause/effect. Ignorance can be solved as long as the person is willing to learn.

Stupidity, on the other hand, the willing refusal to learn or grow intellectually. It is the willful choice to remain rooted in bigoted or otherwise ideological dogma when given the opportunity to embrace the truth. Stupidity is a choice - and a mournful one.

We retirees talk about this over coffee several times a week. Fast food workers who cannot make change. Liberals who drop in with no clue where we are headed nor any sense we are being lied to about CO2 and climate. No one seems to have rad UN Agenda 21, nor know Green Nwe Deal is the same deal, heading us to one world gov. under UN control, with no property rights. Since thee senst, gurnign in front of people or going the wrong way on one way streets!College studens seem brain dead, do not even know who the VP is, much less how capitalism should work. It makes one want to scream, read something moron.

Some 10 years ago I watch a documentary called: "The Great Culling" In it they noted all the intentional things being done (Davos, UN, Bilderberg, central banks et.el.) to dumb us down, like hydrofluosilicic acid, a toxic waste product of aluminum manufacturing industry (from China!) added to our drinking water. The NOAA atmospheric spraying for weather modification.
Years ago, something totally denied as tin-hat conspiracy theory, now they brag about it. There's your Mann-made climate change in a nut shell. It's called Geo-Engineering. If you want to know the exact poisons they spray on our heads on a daily basis there is a watch group: Geo-Engineering dot org.
Then they sneak us GMO foods, with labeling laws prohibiting you knowing if it's GMO garbage. Awesome, huh?
Last but not least institutionalized indoctrination of our so-called "education" system. You know men can get pregnant..... don't look between your legs, we'll tell you what sex you to be. Forget reading writing and arithmetic.
We spend 5X per student more than ANY other nation, yet we rate LAST among all the industrialized nations. That is not an accident. My proof: look at the dolt who occupies the whitehouse and who leads congress. We have hit rock bottom then drilled for the anfo charges.

This 2012 documentary extrapolated the downward spiral. By 2050, America will have the half intelligence it has now. The author states, if we keep on our current path, in 40 years we will be so dumb we will not be able to feed, cloth or govern ourselves. We will have the basic intelligence of a 5-year-old.
That was the prediction 10 years ago.
I fear we are ahead of schedule.
