I'm not positive but I think the one on counting a forgiven loan as income might be true.

That was actually pointed out in an article I read on the breakdown of the EO.

But Who knows, maybe yes, maybe no.

According to the 2013 pub 17 (the last year the printed copy was published), the canceled debt must be included in your income.

It further states if a Federal Government agency or financial institution forgives the debt you owe of $600 dollars or more, you will receive a Form 1099-C. The amount of the canceled debt will be shown in box 2. 😢

The woke crowd may be in for a surprise next April 15. 😲😂😂😂

Wow! If the woke crowd takes the time to actually read the tax forms or plan to file at all.
Possibly, before tax time, Joe may just issue a EO forgiving that as income for taxing purposes.

    Thank you Carl.
Snowflakes on discovering their $30k tax tab ... nice dose of reality there.
IRS agents and Pronouns. Good grief. Pronouns and all the rest of the nonsense will find home in the dust bin of history after we experience a Global Long Hard Winter.
I am uncertain what we mean by Pumpkin Flavored Everything ... unless it is a sort of protein substitute or similar ...
