A prayer just went out for your father. My father lived until one day short of his 99th birthday and had become very senile. I'm afraid I may be destined to need a rest home and then a hospice like he did.
I haven't been prone to falling yet like my deceased mother, who had Alzheimer's..
Yet a year ago I fell out of bed 5 times within 2 months. (Nothing broke maybe because I like milk and cheese and take multi-vitamins).
Looked for a solution on my PC. Amazon was selling several devices. Got a looped metal thingie you slip between the mattresses and secure it with your own body weight when you lie down.
Me dino hasn't fallen out of bed since and the raised metal loop helps me get up and down.
Yeah, getting old can be hazardous at times.

    Mhubb
Is this a paraphrase of Lincoln's response to those who wanted to get rid of Grant because of his drinking?

Dang, me dino knows I posted something here yesterday, commenting on different memes. I KNOW I made a cheerful remark about Batman slapping Slow Joe across the face.
Guess I neglected to click on the Add button.
Please, God, don't let old dino become like Sleepy Joe. At least I know I'll never be a Sleepy Joe Fulla Schiff.

Maybe we could create a Deep State deck of cards and give it to the Mossad and turn them loose with it. Sometimes outsourcing is best.

"America needs a spanking and encouragement to grow up."
A spanking for the deep state and corrupt business, and exposure to reality for the People.
Changing the medcare industry will do more to reduce federal expenditures than any other action (with gutting the corrupt war machine manufacturers a close second.)

That's a more aggressive approach than mine but perhaps more effective and certainly faster. I'm squeamish about chopping the People so fast. I'm not squeamish about hosing out Congress with the contents of old-fashioned pencils. But I used to listen to the Savage Nation and he used to say: Only a more savage Nation can survive. If we did let financial social Darwinism take its course, I envision the strong surviving and the weak perishing, which is anathema to some. Maybe America is a nurturing State which discourages personal growth. Maybe America needs a spanking and encouragement to grow up. But the welfare wagon is getting heavier and those pulling the wagon are getting pissed off...some day Atlas is going to shrug.

You could pick 1/1/2000 birthdate and free millions of 21st century born from slavery
(and not affect any of them negatively because they have 40+ years to build up savings
    for retirement.)
The problem is paying for those currently receiving social security and medicare, and
those 50 and older who have paid in for more than 30 years. A phased payoff of people
to exit the system over 10-20 years would be effective, while also freeing younger people
from their chains (ss taxes) and switching taxation from production to consumption taxes
that by constitutional amendment get lower every year.
Killing all medicare payments for any treatment that doesn't cure an affliction in less than
a year would lower those costs immensely, but won't happen as long as pharma controls
    every area of fedgov.
The problem is that the Deep State won't do anything that reduces their power and profits
    without armed rebellion, imo.

Pure BS! There was no beating to death of ANY police officers the capitol building on J 6.

I did not see any videos of gallows. Besides, hanging in effigy has been part of American protest since the Brits were in charge. So what? That does NOT constitute an insurrection. Only a person suffering from TDS would interpret it that way - and then spend millions of taxpayer dollars trying to convince the public of the lie and try to convict innocent protesters using the same lies.

I have to comment on the "gallows." If you go back and look at it in detail, you'll see that it is a flimsy thing that would fall down if used, and the barrel knot is just rope wrapped around some fat wad of t-shirt fabric sticking out both ends. That gallows was a prop, yes you're right a scary symbol of violence, but no one seems to notice that it was a statement, not an actual usable killing machine. Go look at it again.

Bumpin' Biden is a symbol, if there is a God, that Sodom is nearing incineration. Biduh is a symbol of an ossified State, that is old, decrepit, cannot respond to change and does not attend to its problems.

I would like to see the big programs phased out by attrition. Pick a date, say 1/1/2024. Any person alive or born before that date keeps the traditional benefits. All newborns from 1/1/2024 will grow up knowing there is no safety net. They will walk the tightrope of life and natural selection will forge a stronger healthier tomorrow, free of the disease of excessive choking compassion. The rest of the teatsuckers will fade away. The political class will shrink drastically.

I have a dream. Where a man is not judged by his ineptitude, but instead by his competence.
