I was a kid in the 70's.. I also recall walking a mile home from school.. winters in Wisconsin... skipped the bus to stay after and work in the computer lab. No complaints. It all turned out quite well. Thanks for the bits of think-worthy images Carl.

Yeah, the price of donuts, LOL. I've been working on getting my weight under control with a goal of 195. Pre-op on 3/31 I weighed in at 229 and this morning 211.8 so I'm getting there. I told my wife when I reach my goal I'm celebrating with a plain doughnut slathered in peanut butter. She says, "No, you're not!". This meme makes me pout, but I'll follow her advice, LOL!

What makes you think that kids can't lie around and read the Sunday funnies? The local newspaper in Richmond still prints cartoons in color in the Sunday paper.

I vote for the first and last one as tied for first place with the Cadillac tail light coming in second which I think was from an Eldorado Cadillac but not sure. The '59 was similar but not quite the same.
