If we are facing all these blackouts why is my adopted son, Chico, risking his life and those of the guys who work for him putting up those damn windmills that kill the birds to generate electricity?

All I need to know is it takes way more energy and power to build and install said wind towers than they will ever generate , period. That said , my son worked for a firm that planned and designed wind farms. I absolutely jumped for Joy when he was hired by his city to be the GIS coordinator for them.

It occcurs to me we seem to ban things just for fun. Liquor back in the 30's. That really worked well. Abortions, didn't stop or decrease. AR 15's children can buy them. I don't even dare mention drugs

Great Post D!. I don't understand people's fascination with drugs. I took a Tylenol 3 for the pain in my left leg (torn medial meniscus) which radiates into my thigh and causes muscle spasms. The pill didn''t stop the pain or alleviate it. So I dished up a bowl of Pico ( Chopped Jalapenos, onions, tomatoes, and cylantro). It's an anti-inflammatory and with a glass of wine you really get relief. Not recommended for everyone.Nan

It just occurred to me if this Administration would quit trying to manage the entire planet and stick to the United States they might accomplish something.

Gotta share with you. We have a Hummingbird haven in a nearby Gulf city. The volunteer placed a Hummer in my hand and it felt like feathers. I don't think they weigh more than an ounce. He was gorgeous. He was still in a stupor so I got to hold him for a second or two. Amazing.

Great collection illustrating a lot of topics. Even if you don't fact check them they have a clear message - some are self evident of common knowledge and require no checking.

Your last? Sorry to hear that, but I realize (and appreciate) the effort it must take to make this post.
