My late mother was a student of music. She played the organ at the Catholic Church me dino quit going to and also led the choir.

Time for you to understand individualism where one is responsible for only your own actions and the same for everyone else. For example, which of today's Ukrainians have committed those past atrocities. Although I am not fond of Christianity, I do not hold a Christian responsible for the evils committed centuries ago. Part of today's misunderstandings is the substitution of words like 'they', 'them', 'we', 'us', and such as shortcuts for individualism. They are dangerous and as with mathematics are used as descriptions of of objective reality and do not imply existence of anything real. Reality dictates concepts, not concepts dictating reality.

I look forward to your posts. Don't let it get you down. Also your optimistic insights help as sometimes it seems to me that the country is being intentionally crashed.
And I don't need any phony fact checking. I depend on logic and my own research more than those things. Everybody has an agenda, even these so called gate keepers.

Chew the meat...spit out the bones. If humanity waited until it had “facts and evidence” before acting on every theory we would not have the success that we now enjoy. Non-transitory inflation was just a “theory” a year ago. Forced vaccinations were a “theory” at the beginning of 2021. Vax passports were a “theory”. CBDCs.....food shortages. Shall I go on?
If one chooses to only act based on “facts and evidence” one would live a very reactionary lifestyle.

I’m perfectly capable of fact checking data that is presented. So I don’t get wrapped around the axles when someone presents something false. Because what if it turns out to be true? Now I have early warning and can better formulate a response.
And as far as Ukraine is concerned.....it is just another money laundering scheme. Unfortunately innocent people are being hurt so Oligarchs on both sides can enrich themselves. But if it’s more bloodshed everyone wants.....sure let’s put boots on the ground and watch what happens.

According to legend, years ago, Dob was rude to a contributor several times. As a result the site admin gave him a month's sinbin. Dob apologized. Dob now makes excellent contributions to this site while admitting to not fact-checking all sources used.

Recently, one contributor told Dob to go to Russia and has made several insults to Dob and others.
It is my opinion that Dob knows more about Russia than the criticizer.
That contributor defends the current government of Ukraine which was set up and remains controlled by a small group of Oligarchs and the same set that direct the US government and use Ukraine to siphon money from the US to themselves.

Well, hey. Why not go to Russia. Bernie did, even got married there and he's a U. S. Senator. I've never wanted to visit Russia. I find it depressing. Switzerland would be more to my liking. And recently I have discovered Spain has some absolutely gorgeous scenery. A good friend lived there for five years. She vouches that it is a beautiful place to visit.
