Why is government stockpiling guns, ammo?

Word from my local FFL dealer said only foreign-made ammo will be available to consumers. However, customs is now delaying approval from 30-days to 6 months. Coincedence?

I posted it because it was a real requisition order. so far, we're talking numbers I don't know where they came from. I don't read him often. only if Drudge posts something interesting

Alex does seem to get a bit unhinged at times... I imagine a good percentage of what he says is worthy of investigation, however I have found myself thinking... uh... yeah... not so much... with some of the over the top conclusions he has drawn.

Hmmmm. Not sure about Alex. A couple of years ago he went ape shit over the fact that IPv4 addresses were running out. I didn't buy into the fear, the IETF knew about this as early as 1992 and starting working on the problem. Viola! IPv6 became the answer in 1998. Alex was a bit late in realizing this by about 18 years...I'd be cautious when reading any of his stuff.

Exactly. It's also how they have the laws set up. The Demunists know that the key to controlling any state is by winning the biggest city. For example, did you know that the current govenor of IL won only 3 COUNTIES out of 102?

I doubt the State legistlators in Springfield will be willing to change that set up anytime soon. Maybe MI will be different?

I wish my concerns, which I have expressed many times didn't fall on the ears of the oppressors. Our representation is largely part of the problem. There are two Michigans, the big cities that vote these idiots in, in lock step, and the rural communities that pay the price...

Let's just say I've had plenty of experience playing with the M-16. From my experience, the AR/M-16 really doesn't like getting dirty, and after a couple of hundred rounds, the jams (FTF) start happening. I've found though, mini-14, with it's Garand-style action withstands hundreds of rounds without much a fuss. And that's a good thing!

I'm not a fool though, I know that I just opened up a can worms...the AR crowd getting (ironically) fired up over what I encountered with the AR during my 20 years of being in the military. I'm sure there are fellers out there who can clearly demonstrate 1,000 + rounds of continuous fire with a single failure. My response is: great! It works for you, but not for me. I took personal care of my issued weapon, kept it damn clean, sighted in and after numerous FTX (field training exercises), and all-day ammo firings during my time serving, I've had enough of the AR. I prefer the mini. Yes, there are a few things I don't like about it. But, I can deal with it, versus FTF.

I called my former Congressman's office, he sits on armed services committee. they say they are concerned as well, and are looking into it. They did say, that when DHS buys, it is a multi- year acquisition. they have 30-40thousand agents in the field. they estimate for training alone, an agent would go through 200 rounds a month. they also said that some of the websites are reporting inflated numbers. the actual numbers are about 1/10th what is being reported. they did say, the most recent update on those numbers is now a few months old. they also said they are getting tons of calls like mine. They agree that private citizens after nov. 6 and then dec. 14 are buying most of what's available up and that production takes several months to adjust to the increased demand. they finally said that much the same situation was going on following Obama's initial election.
I'm just passing this on. This representative is highly conservative and has only been in office 6 years.

AR's. A SKS too. A colt AR (16' barrel) was $564 just before Sandy Hook. Now, they want a little over $900. Where? HA, I won't divulge my sources!

I'm willing to bet that Ovomit's devious plans are to mirror what Numbnut in Iran did. Back during the civil uprising that took place in Tehran in 2009, the Revolutionary Guards found it was hard to shoot people they recognized, since they all grew up together, thus that's also what gave the uprising additional momentum that otherwise, would have been put down quickly. How did monkey-face and his goons respond? They began recruiting new Revolutionary Guards from the farthest outreaches of Iran, going to small towns, offering financial incentives to young boys, but, they would be stationed (you guessed it) in Tehran. The meaning behind this is, should there be another uprising, the young men will have a much easier time shooting the people whom they never grew up with. Returning to Ovomit's Civilian Defense Force, it would be much easier to recruit drones from the inner city of say, Detroit, & have them shoot people from say Memphis, versus having them shoot people from their own town, most likely disobeying orders due to personal recognition of friends and their family. I could always be wrong though.

Why aren't the few good members of congress making something of this? I find this quite disturbing. Shouldn't they?
