Friend of mine returned from Mexico on spirit airlines. Both of his return flights were cancelled at the last minute after numerous delay notifications. Spirit has no spirit left. Right out of AS.

I loved trains, my Dad had Lionel as a kid, we built an HO 4 x 8 double dogbone layout such fun. He built the trestle from scratch 1/8" square cherry wood. Now my Nephew is obsessed with his wooden Brio train set. Yeah the pink is a deathtrap sometimes.

As a kid he was fascinated with Trains.
He was unusually curious about the railroads very nerdy you might say. His second wife is 15 yrs younger and a real freak posting very crude stuff on Facebook as my wife tells me. I suppose that little pink piece of oh so valuable real estate has tainted his view point.

Qreat point although an enterprising lad today could say his thing is a her thing to get her size 13 foot in the cockpit. 30 years ago my nephew sent a single shoe to the American Airlines CEO with a note that said just trying to get my foot in the door.
The nephew He wasn’t woke then but with his second wife ( a stewardess) he is now.

Greek letter alphabet symbol for adding heat in Chemistry Airlines. That's what happens. Choose pilots by skin-experience first and flying skills second, the Laws of Physics will trump the Laws of Diversity.

Interesting factoid from the NTSB. They analyzed single-engine accidents where only the pilot was killed. They compared male and female pilots. The male pilots were good at handling the airplane but made stupid decisions like flying in bad weather or stunting. The women made good decisions and did not do stunts, but had poor airplane handling skills. Still dead is dead.

    Diversity, Inclusion, Equity.

    DIE.

A neighbor who just retired from (Think Covid variant ) airlines when the jab was being made mandatory and I were chatting. He was clear that the corporate deletes with their woke approach was putting safety of any onboard his company’s Jets. The urgency for diversity among pilots meant the criteria for hiring pilots changed. The skin color was the most important attribute they were seeking.
He told me before he Quit ,in a company wide review of the pilots on a simulator with no auto pilot there were 29 stalls that occurred.👨🏿‍✈️👩🏽‍✈️👩🏽‍✈️👨🏼‍✈️👨🏽‍✈️👨🏾‍✈️

There is no copper they used it all to connect the solar panels to each other and then ran out. None left for power lines.

People and Mfgs are just not aware of what's coming in terms of life changing events because our magnetic shields are weakening very quickly, one good strong, quick burst from the sun and our modern electrical, electronic life is over!
Anything with computers and anything electrical will be dead to us...back to the stone age.
This is not a conspiracy theory or hyperbole ...it's a fact.

Not to mention we are right on track for a 12K cyclical event that will wipe out civilization in one felt swoop. Estimates have it around mid century so keep abreast of where our north and south poles are...right now the north pole is poised to leave the polar region and the south pole already has and they are headed toward each other.

Shields are down 25% or more captain.

Airplanes don't take off with full tanks. They fill the plane with enough fuel to make it to the destination, or an alternate, with one hour of reserve fuel. It costs less money to haul less fuel. That is commercial planes. I always top off even if I'm only flying one hour. I like taking off with a constant known weight for consistency.

Medicare Medicaid Social Security / Disability funds are all running out dry this and next decade. The Ponzi scheme will be over and the money presses will be running 24/7 until 1 Peso = 1000000 USD

There are some single passenger 1 hour long flight prototypes of electric planes. They are quiet, smooth, vibrationless, awesome. Any more battery weight and it flies like a brick. As a toy for an individual, fine. NFW will they build a 200 passenger electric plane. That is a wet pipe dream.

Yes the whole domino of shutdowns and firings jarred industry terribly, according to plan. Airline industry is very delicate, it needs to be run by a Dagny, not a Taggart. The things is though, it the book Taggart was stupid. In real life Biden is not only stupid, he's evil, causing destruction On Purpose With Conscious Intent. Or at least the handlers.

Many will just fall to the ground, but even the one's today are doing the same thing, electronics failure and pilots dying and now they could run out of fuel mid air too.

I wonder how airline travel will be when the planes have to be electric. Good luck with that one. Maybe the leftists actually want to stop airline travel completely, except of course for THEIR travel.

Now they support the end of fossil fuels by being WOKE. FuQing idiots.

Yes , it is overlooked the risk of hauling all that crude. Pipelines are far more efficient and safer.

I see his trains come through here (Kansas) 5x a day. There was an accident, in Canada, one of the trains derailed and 47 people were incinerated. That story, it was a one-day wonder in the media. "In the early morning of 6 July 2013, a runaway train hauling 72 tankers filled with crude oil derailed as it approached the centre of the town of Lac-Mégantic, Quebec. The tanker cars exploded and the oil caught fire, killing 47 people and destroying many buildings and other infrastructure in the town centre."

Talk about just in time disasters. The airlines run on this all the time since they need to have all the flights run on time to keep the future ones running on time. They do not plan on any delays or mechanical problems, and when they occur, flights just get cancelled.

The USA is headed for a giant Taggart Tunnel disaster when it comes to the wanton printing of money, resulting in the destruction of the dollar. It will come quickly at some point, when the various ways of kicking the problems down the road come to an end.
