There are two genders and a wide range of mental disorders. Yeah! That got a big horse laugh out of a dino.
Thank the dino for sharing that he loves hot peppers and hot pepper sauce with certain foods and it does not bother him at all in the bathroom. He would never get into a pepper eating contest, though.

One of my buddies regularly competes in the local wing contest. He competes in two categories: hottest and most flavorful. Last year his "hottest" featured a proprietary blend of the ten hottest peppers in existence. (Think ten-alarm fire hot.) They only got beat out because the opponent skirted the rules and used straight capsacin sauce (they have since amended the rules to exclude using straight capsacin). They also defrauded the judges - who actually have to eat one of the prepared wings - by having their taste-tester eat one which had not been doused in the same sauce.

Different peppers and sauces are viva le difference with some tasting better than others.
Here is something out of the bathroom me dino shall also share.
An ear, nose and throat doctor diagnosed that I have a 24/7 slight sinus condition for being allergic to some unknown something he could not identify.
Way before I learned that, though, I had come to like the way peppers and pepper sauce can ease the pressure always inside my nose.
Excuse me while I blow it. I always keep a handy hanky nearby due to my 24/7 condition. HONK! That's a little better. You're welcome for acknowledging my sharing.

Some dude in England genetically engineered the Dragon Pepper, it is so hot it will kill you, by anaphylactic shock, or you suffocate because your throat swells up. It measures 2,900,000 Scofield units. It's hotter than Military grade pepper spray.

I like to cook Indian food hot. So my face turns lobster red and sweat dripping off forehead.

Nice. I've found that horseradish is an alternative for those who don't do peppers.

Still others do curry, though that one's not my favorite. Who needs decongestant!?! ;)

Had me some brisket-stuffed jalapenos down in Houston one time - battered and deep-fried. They were definitely on my list of top ten best foods EVER.

I"ll stuff a little cheese in with that please. Or maybe a queso dip. Goat cheese.
Might be the "cheddar head" in me.

I have the brisket, the smoker and will have fresh jalapeno this summer. What a great idea. Hurry July/August!

Yup, and habaneros. Can't do Ghost and the tiny little oriental thai or viet.
Stuff with cream cheese, crab and sour cream, shrimp and honey soaked garlic. 100 variations.

You know, when i munch alone.
I prefer to be by myself.

Those are just the "sides" for the egg salad, sauerkraut sandwich.

Pop always said: I don't mind when they burn my eyes or stick to the roof of my mouth, but when they start to rust metal, they just gotta go.

You have got to be making that shit up...in a few short posts you list the worlds worst food combos imaginable that would give a cast iron stomach a challenge....and I like mixing foods.

OK, serious question. what palatable food is the least hot for a novice. They say hot foods do warm the body and at 70 and with a dead nuked thyroid...this ugly old man needs some added heat...but mustn't even come close to a pre 1st alarm fire.

I am Iron Man.....not. Eggs are great protein and the sauerkraut is great gut health. No one but me to be exposed to the aftermath.

I eat fermented foods almost daily. A little kimchi, have assorted vegetables with and without hot peppers. You can tame things down with green chilis, as in salsa or chutney. The fermentation process supports microbes that help all kinds of body regulation, including thyroid function. This really began as a practice just over a year ago. I have 95% less acid problems overall. The 5% is from not eating regular or too much sugar without eating balanced for the day. Look into your gut health first and then experiment with the spice. If your gut has a healthy mucosal lining and microbe biome' you'll have far less indigestion from peppers.

If you like Hispanic or Asian you can spice up or down. I may take toast and drop an egg on it, with a little mild salsa and sour cream. Mac & Cheese mixed with Rotel "mild" (diced tomato and green chile). If you like liver....fry the onions with some mild peppers. The secret is finding the taste of the pepper you like with the other foods.

I have read into gut health. And leaky gut syndrome. There's a medical test, they give you two sugars to eat. One your gut cannot absorb. One your body can absorb. Then they can test your urine to see what sugars show up or are absent. Then tney can tell if you have a leaky gut. Or you can just eat differently in the first place, of course. Just curious if you ever heard of that or tried it. I too avoid sugars of all sorts, except for low carb vegetables. Cruciferous vegetables make me happy.

I saw Patrick Flynn a few weeks ago. Two hour seminar with Q&A.

He deals with metabolic panels to start. Gut health is a primary focus in building or re-building health.
I know quite few with "leaky gut". Symptoms show up on a wide spectrum based upon lifestyle exposures and diet and the medical treatments that only deal with symptoms and not causality. "Keep em comin back for the meds and surgeries". Pat confirmed what I had been doing for the past year was healthy. My gut was healing and the rest has been following. My lack was in microbe activity. Just a couple of fermented green beans, a tablespoon of kimchi, or the like, each day, was all that was necessary.
