Forcing the priesthood to be celibate is probably one of the most idiotic moves of the Roman Catholic Church. There is no biblical backup for such lunacy.

Everyone seems to forget that when the Sanhedrin sent its servants (armed employees, actually) to arrest Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, Peter pulled his sword and cut the ear off one of them. This suggests several things:

1) The apostle was armed
2) He knew how to use it
3) No doubt Jesus understood and allowed such things for his closest circle during his ministry

Me a Christian dino seldom goes to this or that Protestant church because ex-Catholic me has become not much of a joiner. Why?
Because I don't like being told how I'm supposed to think to be completely and compliantly in step with this and that congregation's doctrine.
Despite my personal hangups, me dino says we are experiencing Satan on earth now in a big way.
Why in this or that kinda way? Satan has always been on earth.

If I was a church-going man I'd say this is Satan on earth...

Reminds me dino of one of those two stupid jerk prosecutors~the fat one as I recall~telling Rittenhouse he should have just taken a beating despite hearing one of those criminals with a record that he shot say he wanted to kill him.
Somehow I don't think a Catholic dying due to complying with what the poop said he should do if violently attacked would ever be canonized as a martyred saint.

Just this week I heard on the radio that Catholic priests could have wives all the way up until the 11th Century. Just looked it up. Yep.

I think all these accusations of racism are B.S. I don't take instructions from the Pope. He needs to clean up the corruption in his own house before he attacks us. My family is like the United Nations. I have white grandchildren, Hispanic grand children and an African American mix grandchild. They are all loved equally.
