I called my adopted son, Chico, and said, "You don't love me. You haven't even called me on my birthday.' He answered 'You obviously haven't checked your messages mama.' Sweet birthday greetings. One of my classmates way back to the 4th grade called me and I said 'BJ why are you calling me today?' He said, "it's your birthday and you were the youngest one in our class all those years.' Can you believe this? 75 years??? He always told people we drank from the same baby bottle. He graduated from Old Miss and I went to Rice. We've stumbled over each other for so many years.
