Gun control hypocrisy

Does anyone else see the irony of a senseless gun death caused by a negligent gun control advocate? I would think that non-hypocritical gun control advocates would refuse to act in movies glorifying gun violence. I would applaud such a principled stand, should it ever occur. And if they pick up a gun, they should have the respect for its deadly potential that responsible gun owners practice. Although I enjoy gun control advocate Liam Nelson as an actor, the gun death body count in his recent Taken series (89) far exceeds the gun deaths of all of the Bond films taken together (66) and that in a series featuring a guy who was ‘licensed to kill’. 🤷🏼‍♂️

There was just ZERO excuse for that death. It just proves that Guns are dangerous in the hands of morons that don’t know how they work. Remember when Feinstein swept the room with an Evil Black Rifle and piss poor muzzle discipline. You do that kind of thing where I hang out and there’s a very good chance you get escorted outside and beaten with a sock full of nickels. That chamber could have been checked easily. There’s no mistaking blanks for live loads. (Nagant revolver being a very rare exception.) When someone hands you a gun you NEVER assume it’s safe until you verify this for yourself. Baldwin is guilty of negligent homicide. But that would involve him actually taking responsibility for HIS actions. Something we all know will never happen. It’s really easy to fix this problem. A law that states “Every firearm used in filming shall have a barrel obstruct permanently affixed 1” down the muzzle.” And spot check them just like the Game Wardens check for lead shot during duck season. But in the end all it would do is protect morons from other morons.

Me dino saw Taken and Taken 2 before I learned here in The Gulch that Liam Neeson is a gun control advocate.
Me dino was so taken by that revelation that I stopped watching his Taken movies and any of his others with one exception, Rob Roy.
That was because I heard it was especially good~~it is~~and because I'm quite sure he is not a broadsword control advocate.

Liked Rob Roy, and the bad guys getting theirs in Taken didn’t bother me, but his full on hypocrisy is grating.

His hypocrisy grated me into making an only exception with Rob Roy. Each to his own.
Liked John Wick mostly due to the heart-tugging dog being a murdered wife's present subplot.
When I watched John Wick 2 that the expansion of shoot 'em up super-human action struck me as just being ridiculous. No more, I falsely resolved unto myself.
For when John Wick 3 came along, I became curious for seeing how the trilogy would play out in the end. But #3 promised more to come. That's it! Me dino is done, done done!
Recall seeing the original The Magnificent Seven during the Sixties. That flick was just great! Watched it or parts of it repeatedly on TV through the decades since.
Learned it was based on The Seven Samurai made in Japan. Managed to watch that. Wow! A bit long but a damn good movie. The action? Superbly realistic!
Then came the very recent The Magnificent remake. Tricky wicky for John Wick super hero kinda shooting all over the place. UGH!
Out of the blue I'm suddenly recalling a Sixties Marvel comic character who made the world a better place by being discontinued.
Me dino only buying one comic of those books can recall only one really ridiculously unforgettable scene. Kid Colt, yep, that's his name, slides down a handrail for stairs in a saloon.
His two Colts blazing, Kid Colt says, "I've shot 12 guns out of 12 hands! Now back to the ranch (to save whatever the girl's name was)."
