At the bottom of the door there is a sliver of light that gives me hope.
The verdict and so far no riots give me hope.

Nicely done, OUC! Very comforting to see AR in the end.

Instead of calling for the climate czar, I'm surprised it wasn't a call for the transportation queen or the health thing, but wait, call the VP, she'll get right on it. Oh gosh, that poor dead horse looks like a deer I saw along the road yesterday.

    I've had a couple of close calls. I am blessed with good night vision and I usually see their eyes flashing back a long way down the road.
    
    The most amazing deer miss I ever saw was when I was following a friend who was hauling a trailer with a full size civil war cannon behind his pickup. We were going down a side road in the dark at about 35mph and a deer darted out on his left and leaped between the truck and trailer (yeah! over the hitch!) and never got hit! It made a perfect landing and ran into the woods on the right. My wife in the passenger seat screamed and shouted, "Holy Sh*t!!, did you see THAT!??" Yeah, I did!
