California law bans small off-road gas engines, including lawnmowers and chainsaws (to be imposed in 2024)

"California took another step toward its goal of ridding the state of all gas-powered engines thanks to a new bill signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom on Saturday.

The new law will ban the sale of all off-road, gas-powered engines, including generators, lawn equipment, pressure washers, chainsaws, weed trimmers, and even golf carts. Under the new law , these machines must be zero-emissions, meaning they will have to be either battery-powered or plug-in, according to the Los Angeles Times."

    The big difference is that Looney Toons were meant to be funny and entertain us. The current state of Chinafornia is straight out of Lucifers play book.

    Lawn service will not be a problem for the rich...they will have an army of illegals to cut the grass with scissors. When they get done thay can spend the rest of the day filling out mail in voter forms.

    Well of course you forget the electric powered electric generators. When the power goes off you just plug it in the wall and it makes electricity. I believe they are powered by Unicorn flatulence.

    We'd have to read the bill in detail to determine its application. The article mentions that the agency will determine to implement the law when it is "practical", which imo will be never, but the looters don't live in the same reality as the 50,000 small businesses they are determined to destroy.

    Love to see the wealthy people's 's lawn services be discontinued. Set up a service to relocate lawn and tree services out of state. Also let all forestry go away in the state, excellent!

    Also, operational limits seem unenforceable, maybe sales. If someone told me to turn off my generator on a power loss, it wouldn't go well.

    I saw a similar newscast stating the ban was on NEW gas engines in the state. If that is the case, I see a business opportunity in used equipment repair and sales.

    Anyone who doesn't believe the fighting war between China and America has not started only has to look to California right now. This act of banning small gas engines is only one of many already enacted and one of many to be enacted against Americans by a government infiltrated by our enemy. To the point I think it now we should call it Chinafornia

    I can't believe they put Generators on this list. In Texas we would have frozen to death in February if we hadn't mostly owned generators. Natural Gas, and Butane. These people are coon-dog nuts!

    Yeah..and unisex toy display areas in stores. Protections for those who get covid vaccinations against those who are harassing them (note...there aren't any of those people). On and on...laws, rules and regulations that don't make sense.
