    What I Have Learned:

If You Are Faced With A Situation That Is Not Rational, Check Your Premises and Look For The Financial Interest.

We Are Being Conned By Corrupt Officials Of Governments And By The Corrupt People Who Control Them.

Great stuff! On the fourth one: The only charity I genuinely trust is the Gary Sinese Foundation, because Sinese is The Real Deal and does not BS people. In addition to just being a "donate" organization they have some great merchandise, which allows you to get something tangible with a part of the cost going to the Foundation.

Another I give to - occasionally - is Make-A-Wish Foundation, which has a 72% program expense ratio - but they can be a little annoying with their direct mail.

I stopped giving money to the VFW for the latter reason because they took "direct mail" to "avalanche" proportions: Tons and tons of... stuff, from notepads to pens to address labels to greeting cards and everything imaginable. It did not take long before I began to wonder why the money being spent on this high-dollar freebie-festooned direct mail campaign wasn't being retained and used by, you know, the VFW itself. It started seeming more like a circular fundraising scheme than a valid charitable organization for vets.

Curiously, I haven't been able to find any kind of list on the search string "Charities that give your money to leftwing causes." You basically have to investigate in reverse, checking each prospective charity individually (which should be standard practice anyway, but it would be nice if someone had compiled the data already.)

Deciding gender, deciding COVID -- I self-identify as a 1972 Kawasaki H2. No, I don't even have a motorcycle or know how to ride one, but a friend had one back around 1973. I doubt they have a vaccine for the H2, in spite of its reputation as a killer.

Given the average attention span of far too many people on this planet, memes are the seeds of truth that often stick, because they resonate immediately against what's in our brains already, right or wrong.
We are in sad shape when "book-reading" is not in vogue and we conform to the short videos and "sound-biting" of nearly everything!
Atlas Shrugged is a classic, stunning work, but still too few have made the effort to read every page! I'll be the first to say I'm guilty!
