No one would have known what kind of a credit card General Flynn until the BLABBED it themselves. They can't be serious about their reputation considering many of their other dealings. This is a pure publicity stunt putting them before the public. Obviously Chase is not concerned about confidentiality or the security of their customers (former or current).

Boycotting a bank is very, very difficult. How, for example, do you transfer your mortgage to some other bank, when the "good" mortgage you had gets bought up by Chase?

We have had several occasions where we said, "Never again with that bank," only to find that once we had moved our funds to another bank, it was swallowed by the one we thought we had escaped. The mattress looks better and better.

Some years back I went to open an account at Chase because they had branches and services at cities I intended to visit. Too many rules and regs to grab funds from persons accounts so I walked out and never went back. Seeing this makes my decision even better. Chase Bank can go pound sand.

Edit add: The bank I decided upon (BofA) at the time seemed pretty good, but nowadays they are proverbially flying the hammer and sickle over their HQ, so most of my funds have been withdrawn and I only do minimal business with them.

I don't use banks at all. All of my 'banking' is done at credit unions for the last 20 years. Service is typically good, I have had very few problems.

I wrote off Chase ten years ago. I didn't like their handling of a Trust Account.

I dumped everything long ago that had to do with Chase that was in my portfolio, got rid of the name JP Morgan...it all goes back to RockFella!! spelled wrong but wanted to keep it a little clean : ))

If we're gonna mention banks, I encountered a stupid Wells Fargo branch. They stopped payment on two Cashier's Checks I had issued to two people from another WF branch. Boy did my attorney scream. It was a very illegal action. They quickly reversed their actions. But it was embarrassing for a few minutes.

I worked for BofA for 3 years repairing servers in their Richmond data center. After seeing how old their servers were and how unstable their data centers were, I finally quit. Capital One is hosting all their data on the Amazon Cloud. They have no physical servers now. I’m sure all the other banks are the same. I have been using a military credit Union since 1974. I’d never have an account in a big bank ever.

Me dino is again glad I shredded that credit card a long time ago.

I am not certain of ANY bank in the US that hasn't participated in various objectionable activities. Please if you have a good suggestion pass one along as I would like to leave Wells Fargo.

I just did a search on the cash reserves of JP Morgan Chase, Jamie Dimon is sitting on 500 billion in cash. So, one can assume that Dimon wants more Dem Leftists to do more banking with Chase.
