It didn't surprise me. There are lots of rich jerks here who think because they own the business they get to make the rules.

I know if everyone waits until they bother us personally there will be no one to come to our aid.

They don't recognize that it's happening to them, but it is. Corrupt judges said that the cruise lines could demand proof of vaccination for passengers despite the law in Florida.
It is happening in FL, too.
When the air in your bubble is gone maybe you'll realize who took it.
(Not that you and other Floridians are any different from most people.)

I live in a bubble where this stuff doesn't affect me. A lot of people like me probably won't care until it affects them directly. It's not that I'm waiting for them to come for me. It's that I don't get what's going on in Texas and California. I live in Florida and people are able to ignore all this here because it's not happening to them.

    And 'declared' was carefully chosen.
But the point is that no fight for freedom will be won quickly or easily.
It is much easier to allow freedom to slip away and slavery to take its place.

Right on. And if one of them says "I know what I'm doing", just tell him, "Don't throw away your only defense."

The Constitution does not just sign over the citizen as a serf to his State government. At least, not since the 14th Amendment.

So what else is new? Don't those Democrats always do that when they get in?

It seems their thought process has gone from "is it the right thing" (if they ever thought that) to "is it legal" to "can I get away with it".

The thing is: they know it's wrong and they don't care. It's a matter of "What can I do; how much can I get away with, and how much damage can I cause, before I get stopped by the courts?" A lot of bad stuff can happen while waiting for a judge to hear a case, and a lot of that bad can't be undone.

And the leftist fools in Austin will start a recall of the Governor while blocking his efforts in the corrupt federal court system.
The Constitution protects rights only if the People are willing to back it up with force as the colonists did in 1776-1783.
Yes, that war for Independence lasted longer than any other declared war in American history.

Whoever is thinking up this crap about 'safety' camps for unvaxed persons better not try it in Texas! I would bet our Governor would activate every kind of law enforcement we have in this state to prevent this baloney! He alone is charged with protecting our public health, not anyone in the White House! That guy can be impeached also!

"Among the powers of the State not surrendered, which power therefore remains with the State, is the power to so regulate the relative rights and duties of all within its jurisdiction as to guard the public morals, the public safety, and the public health, as well as to promote the public convenience and the common good." Can that be any more clear? What part of this isn't understood in DC. I think they are all nuts!
