Jimi getting Hutted is priceless. Never would have thought of that! Is that the Hendrix statue that was recently vandalized during a BLM riot? In my home town they vandalized a Fredrick Douglas statue - ignorant fools they are.

I even take half the lunch special home from most restaurants, and no joke....have made some of them last three MORE meals.

We have a breakfast/brunch restaurant in one of our suburbs that is famous for huge portions. I mean, DINNER-plate sized biscuits. Pancakes literally hanging over the sides of the plates. (Frankly, not too sanitary, I'd think, but anyway....) Turns out that the owner of the restaurant was starved as a young child in a POW camp, and she had a very exaggerated idea of "proper portion size." She was in her early 80s last time we ate there, and despite being way over-generous with quantities, she charged us a dollar for an extra plate (so we could share) and a quarter (for a styro box to take the rest home in). I guess her idea of generosity stopped once the plate was filled. :-)

Been decades since me dino ate Hawaiian bread.
Think it shall stay that way.

There's no glory in drawing the picking of nuts and berries.
Me dino once read that Eskimos isolated from civilization eat nothing but meat and fish.
Obviously any nuts and berries to be had would grow during a very short summer.

You could take it home and finish it up for lunch the next day...my wife does that a lot.

Seeing that really overweight person forces me to share with you. In our town the most popular restaurant overloads your plate so much it is unreal. The portions are unbelievable. The clientele are the fattest people in this town. But the food is really good. My daughter and I share a plate and still can't finish the food. But it is good. And reasonably priced!
