Interesting. I know some people (husband and wife) whose kids go (or went) to Carroll School District, and who live there now. They are both black; one of them, a CPA and the sponsor for my CPA license, was my boss for 8 years; his wife is a well-established dentist in Flower Mound.

This district is located in a very - VERY - high end town on the Northeast area of DFW, Southlake, and it's listed as the number one ISD in the State of Texas for academic performance. That is a hella achievement, given the size of the state and the competition for that honor.

Despite the two people I know who live there being black, I am certain that the city is majority white and the people there are not shy in expressing their preferences. Will need to go read some more about the election, as I've been busy moving (will it EVER end?)

Local election 70% of the vote went against a whole slate of candidates from the Mayor's race, school board, and city council. High turnout. That's not a divided election, that's a landslide. Guess they don't want 'Diversity" taught in Carroll School Dist.
