Me dino be old enough to have seen the sweet little Opie Taylor of Mayberry character play an all-powerful creepy kid on The Twilight Zone the first night it appeared in glorious black and white.

That's Ron Howard who grew up to be a director/producer Hollywood big shot.

Never trust one that sounds like that or anything else either.
Contemplate this old dino thought of the day and study it well.
    Ommmmmmmm . . .

Were not here playing Jeopardy. I often wondered how well the participants integrated all that "memory" into real thinking and reasoning.
My dad turns 86 in 2 months. Over the past 2 years he has descended into a doddering state. I've shown him many times how to participate here, in The Gulch, with the hope that it may stimulate that which was. He's relegated his time to watching sports. He's withdrawn from life.

And so, Old Dino, I turn here often enough, to see what you, and the other "seasoned" human beings are thinking. And I fortify my consciousness with a thought; I want to be like these folks in my twilight hours.

Sitting at the Knee of Listening has promoted and evoked many a new thought. The most recent, during some whimsical speculation, was the discovery of an intermediate between Fart and Shart.

    Spppppart!

Everyone is trying to play with me dino's old memory head this weekend, starting with Dobrien.
Saw that 2018 flick at the theater and don't recall a thing about it.
Looked it up. Shoulda remembered, since Dr. Smith was played by Gary Oldman, one of my favorite movie villains~~(1) Dracula, (2) the weird bad guy puppet of an evil force in The Fifth Element, (3) the crooked crack-sniffing cop in The Professional, starring that French guy (what's his name in lots of flicks), who played a hitman who took in a little girl orphan who grew up to play Luke Skywalker's mama.

Interesting idea and food for thought.

Also like your new term ‘partzheimers’. Now I only feel partzily old.

Can you imagine Ronny Howard and Billy Mumy in "Mayberry"...create an episode....I'm smiling at the thought.

I was like the Allosaur, and thought that was sweet little Opie. But , Commander, you are indeed correct, it is Billy Mummy in episode 73 titled, ‘It’s a Good Life”. And all these years I have been incorrect in my thinking... how could that have happened ???

No Dino....that's Billy Mumy from Lost In Space. "Wlll Robinson" And then he was in a co-starring role in Babylon 5. "Lennier"
I get what you're describing though. The episode from The Twilight Zone was chilling.
