NTD is a New York-based, global television network founded in 2001 by Chinese-Americans who fled communism. They understood that independent media are crucial to a free society.
NTD stands for New Tang Dynasty. The name is inspired by the noble legacy of the Tang Dynasty (618-907 C.E.), which is considered the golden age of Chinese spirituality and civilization. It was a time of peace, freedom, and openness. Admired the world over, the Tang Dynasty was known for its high moral standards and unparalleled cultural achievements.

    Good thanks.

    OANN
Parler- to return by the end of January.

I should make some more comments later.
Meanwhile, a thought. Someone with better internal discipline than me could start a spreadsheet for group contribution-
list the news source and allow Gulchers to add comments- not just good/bad, but good/bad for what, topics, range, accuracy, depth, and such like.

Vox Popoli (voxday.blogspot.com) is entertaining, and a great source of confirmation bias if you're a Trumpist and/or an evangelical Christian, but don't look for anything resembling objectivity. He's still proclaiming that Trump will "cross the Rubicon", arrest everyone involved with election fraud, and be installed as President for a second term.

If he's right, I'll never doubt him again. I guess we'll know soon enough.

If I ran the Gulch this thread would be a 'sticky' - Marked and always visible for reference and more comments.

    To add:
    -- https://spectator.org/ there is also
spectator.co.uk, this has better international news and comments, more cautious.
These are more for commentary than news.

    -- redstate.com
"a conservative blog" Yes- the choice of topics and what is said.
But no- as to presentation and standard of writing. Headlines are attention gathering even if misleading.

    - BareNakedIslam.com
Good as far as it goes. They had a good article taken from another site without attribution. Could be a habit.
I complained to them about the usual use of twtr and gmail email. I got a reply, it said, "You're right"!

    - NewsMax.com
A generally good news site in my experience. dobrian reports about ties to Podesta, this must be acknowledged. Competent news sites without 'skeletons in the closet', a good range, no hypocrisy, unbiased, are that rare so NewsMax should be on the list despite this qualifier. Let us not get over-excited by disagreements.

    - babylonbee.com/
Humor and sarcasm. When I read it I have to keep reminding myself about that, it is that realistic and clever.

    - conservativewoman.co.uk/
Belief in liberty. Western Judeo-Christian heritage. UK emphasis of course.

    - michaelsmithnews.com/
Quite Gulch in approach, Australian emphasis.
I spend too much time on Michael Smith due to laughing and snorting.

    - SavvyStreet.com
    - AmericanThinker.com
    - Quadrant.org.au
Three good sites not so much for news as for good writing and background. The range is from libertarian/Objectivist to straight conservative. Sometimes Quadrant is too Christian for me.

Listening to an anarchist podcast the other day..."Everything Alex Jones was saying has come true!" Really made me chuckle...

I like Canada Free Press myself, although you cannot see comments from Firefox, it is wonky. So, I use a different search engine for it. I sometimes go to news sources in England, and when hunting for truth about Hillary and Iran lies, some Middle Eastern press. Described her as "bleeding profusely form the head" after her plane ran off runway in Iran. She said she fell at home.

Way too complicated for me. I am not sure I really need to know about all that is going on in the world anyway. I mean, how much am I affected by most of the "news"?

Too funny! If you don’t know how you are “affected by the news “ how would I know how your affected.
      Thanks for your reply .

my comment really mentions that so much of the news that I DO hear about now is useless to my life, but of course gets the news stations lots of advertiser revenue. I am not affected by a LOT of the current news I am being fed, hence my comment.
