This is one more mark against institutions which have the distinction of being those of 'higher' learning. Many, Harvard and Yale included, have over the years succumbed to pressure to change priorities from learning and education to those of activism for various special interests. Academic standards are no longer the measure of one's education but the ephemeral standards cultural and political 'purists'! For any school to considerer taking such an action would in essence subjugate education and knowledge to political standards often in conflict with pure academics.
