"Borrowers deserve a simplified and fair path to relief when they have been harmed by their institution's misconduct." Uh - that's conduct you SUBSIDIZED with federal grants to both institution and student! And are you going to penalize the institutions who are selling these worthless degrees? NO. You're going to subsidize them further!

A classic example of government action instigating a long line of disasters the government then claims it needs to step in and deal with...

    Interesting quip I heard on the radio yesterday:

    "Government will continue subsidizing typewriters after everyone has switched to PCs and word processors."

    Of course they will offer to bail everyone out of debt. Why? Because their goal is to crash the system and eliminate money entirely. They want to institute a system even worse than fiat money: where the government literally controls value itself and everyone's pocketbooks are controlled also by the invisible hand of government. There's no better way to fool people into this than by offering them tons of "free" stuff they have to actually pay for as a way to collapse the entire system - just so they can march in and "save" it. They WANT to eliminate savings and anyone who has stored up assets because they want control over all of it.

    What will government do for all those who financed cars they couldn't afford and McMansions they couldn't afford because of attractive advertising?
    Government has been subsidizing auto manufacturing and home building for a century.
