I saw this on GAB and had to share. It encapsulates the issue better than words.

Just saw a sign at the entrance to a Walmart reading:
"Please do not carry any handgun openly displayed."
    Right.

It should show all the compliant citizens lined up on the other side surrendering their weapons.

The phrase, "cold, dead hands" comes to mind.
Do you feel lucky, gun-grabbers? Well, do you?

The criminals will get guns, the Federal gov't won't go after Antifa if they have firearms. The drug cartels are now more powerful than ever and they'll gladly supply firearms to criminals including drug dealers.

This mask thing is driving me INSANE!! I come from relatively free Oklahoma (no statewide mandate, ever, with only a few businesses and cities masking) to buttoned-up DFW (restrictions just removed) and NOBODY wants to quit wearing a mask!

And also, since the businesses have for a year had the state behind them in enforcing the mandate, they are just rolling right along, requiring everyone to wear a mask. (yes, I KNOW they "can") Because it's easier to just keep things as they are than to change back to "normal." Ugh. Hating it already, even though I am finally back home, more or less.

I like the allegorical comparison that gun control laws as a means of stopping violence is as effective as banning sober drivers from the road to stop deaths from drunk driving.

A gate without a fence stops no one from walking around it. It's pretty much the same thing as an unfinished border fence with gaps.

This photo shows how useless gun laws can and ARE circumvented by criminals.

yeah that's why I would have preferred to have someone walking right on by with the "criminals" label while "law abide citizen" is the one standing there. But maybe that's just me. ;) Maybe they could use an illegal border crossing pic for that. :P

"They want to make offenders out of everyone so they can use their "prosecutorial discretion" on who to actually sentence."

Indeed, the only power a state has over someone is to declare them a criminal and then carry out punishment of some kind.

My experience as well. Most of the older people say "thank you" and we get into a discussion about viruses, herd health, and immunizations.

Didn't make sense to me til I realized that what the kid was staring at was a fence, not a bike rack.

When one remembers that most of those rules are created with the law-abiding in mind, it all makes sense. They want to make offenders out of everyone so they can use their "prosecutorial discretion" on who to actually sentence. In that way they can ignore the crimes committed by their "friends" with influence or large pocketbooks while putting the thumbscrews to those they politically disagree with. It's a huge farce.

I don't wear a mark anywhere until someone tell I need to in order to get what I want. Even then, they would have to provide me with one but I usually decline and instead choose to keep my distance (at least 10 feet) from anyone. Sometimes they ask me to leave, and I do, but more often they just accept what I say and leave me be.

I do not wear a mask in my office( peds) unless someone is sick( which I then throw way) but wear a portable ionization air cleaner around my neck and each exam room has a uv-c air cleaner. In one year only 5 people have gotten mad ! MOst are happy that I tell them they can take the mask off.

In Az the mask mandate I've ignored as finally been lifted. Even so, it is at the descretion of the counties, towns an cities how much it little if the mask fallacy they want to keep in place. Ultimately it's up to each business owner, as it should have been all along.

Not really, an owner of a business or an owner of land has the right to determine what happens on his/her private property. "No shoes, no shirt, no service", same priniciple. Public spaces/places or in public in general is an entirely different matter.
