I also have tried to keep this smart crap out of my house/life as much as possible. No smart tv. No Alexia or smart appliances. Only potential is my phone. Some time back I somehow wound up with this tik-tok crap. I did NOT seek it out. I deleted as much as I could. I know it is impossible to be completely private these days. But I try to not make it easy for "them".

It's the "internet of things," like Alexa, or a refrigerator that senses what you need and orders it for you, or even your Wifi and Router, or your smart television. All those connected devices that look very innocent but could actually be - literally - anything!

None of this seems to get the attention of judges who are asked to rule on this information! They keep saying; "Nothing to see here! Move along!"

This is not new, just more widespread. China was having all the e-mials on Hillary's server sent to them, thus they have the ones our gov. never got to see.
I refused to have the theromstate on our new sys. set to wifi, as I had read about ex-spouses turning off the heat in their former mates homes, remotely. So, it is just a skip away from worse things. We know these devices spy on us, TVs have built in bugs, and are forbidden to remove them. So, this is just a high tech country using it all to their advantage. I have worked with comuters since the mid 60s, they are so incredible, but also so in need of our own responsible controlling. Microfoft used to turn my machine on at midnight, do updates on their own, and change my BIOS! Took me a couple weeks to see what was going on, reset the BIOS and lock them out completely.

Government is just too big and out of control. Lets start by closing down 90% of the federal government, and returning things to the states. Then let people decide which states they want to live in depending on how well state governments are run.

I do not understand this at all. We spent 3+ years hearing accusations against President Trump calling him Putin's Puppet, etc. These idiots in Georgia sent our election results to China? They belong in jail!
