Saw this in me dino's email yesterday. Scroll down to see a couple of near-identical videos. You should enjoy this. Some soldiers are, some aren't, looking at the Crook-In-Chief as he is chauffeured past them. Note that those looking away, some uniformly in large groups, have no civilian onlookers to look back at. https://fellowshipoftheminds.com/notm...
I didn't watch it, but my sister said that a large number - maybe 80% if those troops looked ~away~ from Biden as he went past. (As I understand it, they are allowed to look straight ahead or turn their heads toward the President when he is in the area.) I'm hoping the Dems vetting process was, let's say, less than 100% efficient. It wasn't too long ago that Big Brother Barry was sacking good generals and admirals because they were Conservative.
This topic was discussed here in the Gulch years ago when the segment first came out. I'm guessing you didn't participate in any of those discussions.
Bottom line is fans of any book would like to see the movie version portray exactly like the book. AS fans, which I am one and have read the book many times, are no exception. However, in reality , budget and time constraints often bear heavily on bringing any book to the big screen. AS was no exception and editing did task place. It may have been disappointing in some areas, but in general they did a decent job making a movie that would fit the time and budget allotted.
For the story, Rex_Little, the story. Not the changing actors and other problems of film making. Some of those things made me cringe, too, but it's still a good story.
Come to think of it, the pain in making the movie trilogy and getting it out to the public suffered the same kind of left wing political blackballing and boycotting by Hollywood and others as we are seeing more prolifically today in virtually every form of communication. It's as if what happened during the making of the AS movie is as prophetic and forewarning as Ayn Rand writing Atlas Shrugged in the first place.
Good selections, if I had copies. I saw them both. Today I prefer the goodness of the valley, choosing with whom I converse and interact. Fortunately, I have an excellent personal library too.
