Love the Last Super one about Newsome. And this Thanks Giving has all the earmarks of being the Last.

Recall walking in a school hallway, and looking through a window one floor down at five or six segregationist seniors in a courtyard cheering "Hip-hip-hooray!"
Alabama was strongly Jim Crow Democrat back then.
Me dino was not in an integrated situation until I was drafted during 1969.

I recall consoling girls who were crying in my class when the administration announced JFK's death.
Too bad the truth has never been released to the public.

Don't know why I laughed the loudest at "Right Wing Extremism" printed on a Norman Rockwell painting I first saw on the cover of a Saturday Evening Post my now late dad subscribed to way back when everyone I knew in the USA thought socialism was a very bad thing.

Me dino remembers where I was when heard about Dallas. Tenth Grade. Heading for the gym locker room at the end of an outdoor PE class (can't remember if we had been playing ball or what) at Dothan High School (Alabama) and seeing two coaches listening intently to a radio. Then I heard about it.
