News Media Insanity

I try not to watch the news. But, my wife often leaves it on and I suffer from that. This morning they were actually making the argument that the President shouldn't have secret service protecting him since he's a risk to them. Then, they told us the doctor in charge of treating him is a liar. Then, then interviewed a doctor who criticized that doctor for using the medications he's using. Then they said he was "selfish" for riding in a vehicle around the hospital once to wave at supporters. I simply could not believe what I was hearing. And, this was the big "today" national news show. These people are an embarrassment to themselves and thinking liberals. I know because I actually know some thinking liberals and they are lockjawed on current news stories. Embarrassed. Barring some very thick fraud, they're going to lose this election. I watched the debate with a liberal friend of mine and the poor guy looked like he was suffering from angina.

    I've found the Epoch times to be a reliable source for my news. They give me information and allow me to form my own opinions. They haven't yet shied away from calling out other media sites/outlets. Most notably they give sound information on the situation in China and Hong Kong.

      I was told by a lib friend (more just a person than a friend) that the Epoch Times is a conservative, right leaning paper. I asked them to point out any article in it as leaning in any direction. They said they've never read it, proving most of my points. How would you know, did CNN tell you? I informed them they could get a lot of unbiased information by reading The Epoch Times, I realize it contained facts and practically no opinion, which to them should conclude that fact is actually right leaning in itself. If you want left leaning rhetoric without even basic facts then watch CNN, they will tell what to think because you obviously can't think for yourself. We don't talk much anymore, that is fact, but that is good too.

      The possibilities are endless. But, in looking at his video statement I'd have to say that he actually looked ill. Very few die from this - and that's what's going to shock the bunheads who get their news from CNN.

      I did the math. In the county where my dad died 1.67% of those who got COVID19 died. If you look at 96% having comorbidities...less than 0.02% of those who get it without comorbidities die from it. (i'm winging that, check my numbers)

      Yet...they're are going to try to cajole everybody to take the vaccine.

        So....the Republicans get "infected" and not the Dems, this close to election. The probability of survival, based on prophylaxis, and simple treatments proves out. This is the potential for the greatest PR against the fearmongers. Look at all the disenfranchised potential to shift Right after the all-clear is given on the health of the R's.

        I think Donny is playing their game against them.

        Last night Wis news...1696 "cases" reported (actually positive tests), 56 hospitalizations (actually "cases") unknown if other attenuating circumstance like suicide or a crash or ...?, 4 deaths...with or without co-morbidity is still in question.
        00.23% death rate without taking into account any other mortality stat.

        The latest figures bring the overall total of positive cases in Wisconsin to 122,274(test pos), according to DHS, and the total number of deaths to 1,327. 1.08% death rate against testing. I would hazard a guess that "infection" is 3 to 5 times the tested rate....no or mild symptoms.
        1,327 deaths against pop of 5.822 million. 0.023%

        My math is coming close to yours

        even the cdc had numbers that everyone ignored. If you take out nursing home/institutional deaths overall death rate 1.76%, under age 40 0.01% and under age 20 they have to add all adverse events to come up with 0.0013%

      As I mentioned in my other thread, I don't really think it's accidental at all. I DO think he was/is ill with C-19, but recovering quickly. I do NOT think he just "picked it up" somewhere. Nor the quite a few around him who 'coincidentally' came down with it about the same time.

      I mean, how dumb do they think we are?

    Maybe someone can get a handwriting expert to look at the signatures on the mail in ballots and remove the forgeries. Or find a Somalian or whoever is vulnerable to video them asking to buy their ballot and testify.

      Ha, Chihuahuas yapping! Hits the nail on the head, Dino. The MSMM as little dogs making a lot of noise and trying to pee on your leg.

      I've been using the seagull analogy, which is the MSMM is like a flock of seagulls walking around the beach and if any of them percieves something it can't handle it triggers a whole bunch of squawking and flapping. It settles down a bit and then another triggers a new round squawking and flapping. Lots of squawking and flapping at WH press conferences.

        You remind me when POTUS Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany (poor thing now tests Covid-19 positive) competes a Q&A by saying something that has all Fake News screaming questions and she just quietly picks up her paperwork and exits through a door.
        I get the biggest kick out of that!
        (Heard she's showing no symptoms and will do Fake News Q&A's remotely. Guess instead of walking away she'll just turn herself off).

    I know and you know they are going to lose the election They even know it! They have no platform and are full of hate and rage which is why they are losing droves of voters by the day , BUT they have been buying up & stealing ballots ( harvesting) specially in community’s that have non English speaking ( Somalians) buying their votes $200.@ piece or simply telling them they will fill it out for them, Just to sign it All over the US and the Post Office has people taking buckets of votes out of their vehicles & getting rid of them ( Trumps) So on Election night it will be a landslide , but they will say we have to count the mail in votes and when they are all accounted for it will put Biden ahead. This has been planned out and war games gone over actually practiced to have Trump removed from the White House. It will be a civil WAR.
