My definition of woke may differ from the msm.

Woke- - a religion inspired by post-modernism requiring no facts or evidence to form opinions, or justification for insulting opponents.

A set of odd propositions on sex/gender, LGBTIQWERTY, that sex can be chosen by anyone at any time and that that choice must be accepted by all others.

Some usages:

Rights- some can break the law,
The right to life- amoeba, bacteria and parasites of all kinds, but not human fetuses and infants,
Freedom of speech- profanities and insults are ok- actually required if against non-woke
Hate speech- freedom of speech claimed by white old males (conservatives, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, patriots, libertarians, ..) not covered by freedom of speech,
Anti-racism- but obsessed with identity politics and ways to divide, seeking what group to define as victim and what as oppressor, compensation for victimhood going back many generations,

In general - political correctness.

Similar to- Bolsheviks after their takeover of Russia,
after the French revolution, the reign of terror, the Committee of Public Safety etc.
The glorification of murder crime and terror, no sympathy implied for the old Russian tsars nor the French royals.
