Ah, life in a utopia during the "Summer of Love." So what's wrong with "stealing" a soda...under Communism, there is no private ownership, so she was completely within her rights.
BTW, last night was not a love fest because of a shooting. The police were not allowed in....sounds like a Summer of Chaos" to me.

Of course that girl is within her rights. Can't imagine what that guy in the car is so mad about.
All he has to do is get off his duff and help himself to a phone and some keys that fit into whatever in the temporary possession of anyone else.
Heck, me dino can't write the word "steal" when it has to do with a people's Marxist society.

We drove to Seattle this last weekend for a small private celebration of our 22 year old Grandniece who lost her mother at age 49 to alcohol just about 6 years ago. She just graduated, Cum Laude, from the University of Washington with a degree in Micro Molecular Biology. She survived her Right Republican political beliefs regardless of what they tried to force upon her, but she said she had to play some of their games just to keep her grades. She wants to be a forensics scientist with perhaps the FBI. Now we have to try to find out how to fund her for graduate school, the only two places in the country that have the curriculum she needs are in Washington DC and Los Angeles.

Sorry for all that off the subject, but I just had to brag about this wonderful young lady. We had planned on at least a drive by to see what the media isn't telling us about Seattle, but actually didn't even have to leave Bellevue, where we already were. I've heard little on the news about trashing Bellevue Square, all the jewelry stores that were robbed and busted up, our friends advised us not to go and look either. And we never heard even a word about the banks being boarded up in my old town of Redmond. I would have to presume that most big cities that experienced similar to Seattle have outlying areas around them trashed just as bad. I don't want to live in a world like that.

I promise to thank God every day for giving me my last Bucket List wish to come true 300 miles away from Seattle. Today I only wish I had gone another 35 or more miles further East to Idaho. At least Idaho has a governor they can depend on and that still works for the people, not his own prejudices.

That is worthy of celebration and certainly bragging rights!

I wouldn't be too sure about the Idaho Governor, however. He's certainly experienced his power trip and isn't eager to let go. He just announced that Idaho would be moving back a stage because the number of cases is going up. What he is choosing to ignore is that the hospitals aren't getting new patients and there are no more deaths: the number of cases is going up among the 20-somethings out partying at the bars: the least at-risk segment of the population. It also ignores the economic effects of these shutdowns. And all because of ONE county (admittedly the capital).

In fact the Idaho Legislature is set to come back for an emergency session (today) with the specific goal of revoking the governor's emergency powers - to which he keeps granting himself extensions. They're also discussing censure for taking the unilateral step to authorize funding of some of his priorities - which according to the Idaho Constitution he is forbidden from doing. It's too bad that he just got put in two years ago, because if the elections were next year (the primaries for this year being over) he'd probably get primaried by an opponent.
